Well, it depends whether or not the person used a script to timed ban you or not (and most people don't). How long you're banned is most likely up to the discretion of the ops. Unless you're a super ass or something, it shouldn't be very long.
If you need to be unbanned, message an op and talk to them about it.

I can't join #mbac on efnet, it says my address has been banned, which is strange since I haven't ever connected from this address... I haven't evne connected in forever. Any help on this mystery is appreciated. I was just trying to see if any one wanted to play some games.
