Aoko Aozaki's defeated... sound.
« on: January 07, 2008, 10:48:30 AM »
The other night I played a ton of Melty Blood Act Cadenza Ver. B with a friend and repeatedly beat him when he was playing Aoko Aozaki and we're both curious what she's actually saying in that long, drawn-out death rattle. Does anyone have any ideas or know for sure?

Yalaleto~? I think it doesn't make much sense.

Edit: Well, it doesn't need to make sense if it's Aoko <3

Ya~wa~re~ta~!

It's repeated in a lot of other Type-MOON games, such as Fate/Tiger Coliseum ((Rin says this after being beaten by Saber)). >.> I was playing this on the bus on a field trip and scared all of my friends with my laughing. :3

actually what she's saying is
"Yarareta" a.k.a. "Yaaaaaaaaaraaaaaaaaaaareeeeeeeeetaaaaaaa"

Basically means "I am defeated"

Then why does she spell it like an o? Is it because she is a magician and hot?

its pronounciation, sometimes a is pronounced close to o its something that some people personally do, aoko included.

for example:
"Kawaii" sometimes is pronounced/sounds like "Kowaii"

That is totally why regardless of what anyone else says.

That being said I do find it annoying from time to time, mostly after getting my ass handed to me and barely winning.

Most annoying match to listen to is Aoko vs Warachia... makes me want to kill myself whenever I hear that...  :slowpoke:

Doesn't kowaii mean "scary"? It's confusing.
I love Aokos voice, "Doyaaah!" and her shield "Dyaaan!" XD

And the most annoying match isn't Aoko VS Warachia, its Nero VS Warachia.
"HOAAAA!" "Wrryyyyyyy!" "HOAAA!"

Kowai (not kowaii but who the hell nitpicks) is yeah basically scary, frightening, or eerie.

Nero vs warakia is fun =D

Hahaha, thanks. We played 18 matches with my friend as Aoko and I won all of them, so we heard it a lot. We being a total of 5 guys all trying to imitate that, at 5am in the morning, mind you. Good fun all around.

I thought she was saying "Haraheta" (I'm hungry) when she died.

She was holding her stomach as she laid on her floor anyway, so it has a link  :teach:

This makes more sense than the I'm defeated thing. And makes her more win.

That was actually like 10 of the 18 matches we played. The other 3 guys in the room don't play MBAC and were instead playing CoD:4 and imitated any noise they heard coming from my computer.
