Melty Blood on PC

Does anyone have any clue as to how to get Melty Blood working on a Macbook Pro laptop? I've been trying to get my copy working, however, every time I open it I get an error message and it closes, and tries to send an error report back to Microsoft.

Long story short, I think the problem is my X1600 drivers aren't up to date and I think that's causing it, however, every time I try to download the updates from ATI, I get an incompatibility message.

And just to be clear, it is dual booted with Windows XP Professional.

I would appreciate any and all help in the matter. Thanks.

The original, ReACT, or AC? If its the last one, just insert the CD. That is, unless MB doesn't work on Macs... but it works on Linux so I have no idea why it wouldn't.

It's act cadenza, and it's not an issue of the cd being in or out. Also, I'm running on Windows like I said. Whether or not I have the cd in or out, the game just shuts down when I open it after I get to the configuration screen.

Run dxdiag.exe and check out your directdraw et al.  Failing that, check your region settings, non-unicode programs, or have applocale set MBAC to run in japanese.

I've checked the region settings, set it to Japanese and all that shit. I'll try the dxdiag though. Thanks for the tip.
