Hi Guys,

I'm wondering if you guys have heard of this program called www.ggpo.net? Its like an online emulater to play arcade games online such as Kof, SF etc. I've been playing on GGPO and i must say it owns ;D

I recently suggested to add MBAC to the list of GGPO games since MBAC is available for the pc. I've put my suggestion over here http://ggpo.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=944&start=10.

I think this game would be good on GGPO because it has all the standard features plus a chatbox to. Like the ones always requested for mbcaster.
This would eliminate the need for IRC to setup matches.

What do you guys think? was it worth the shot?

GGPO uses an arcade emulator, hence MBAC won't work until NAOMI is working and MBAC is dumped. Of course, by then we'd be playing MBAA instead...

GGPO can be applied to anything as long as ponder wants to and he has the source code.  That said we don't have mbac's source code.

and yeah until naomi emulation gets put on GGPO, MBAC will not be playable and if we could play MBAC why not just play MBAA.

Plus capcom just bought GGPO or something so we might be getting charged for playing on GGPO. :(

GGPO will not and ever be charged. Capcom just has rights to be able to utilize GGPO netcode in future Capcom titles.

key word might, and note this was posted like 2 days after that when the GGPO forums were all O_o we might be charged soon, until it got cleared up what was going on.
