Good Friends
« on: March 13, 2009, 04:15:16 PM »
Do you laugh at your friends in fighting games after you beat the mess out of them. I sure do. I was playing marvel vs capcom 2 i whipped his ass so bad he said " Its your omega red if i can find away to beat him it will be over. I responded with how many years have you been saying that now and started laughing." So people let me know some of your moments of sweet victory.

I do if I beat him with his own character which sadly does not happen since slash.

By the way, Are Melty Blood and Melty Bread different games?

On that note, who came up with the term 'drop the soap'?

I think it might have been Bell who popularized that one.  I remember first hearing it used a lot from some video (west toast maybe?) that he did commentary on.

Win or lose, I laugh and fist pound with my friends.
If it was a really good match, we stop playing and go on for awhile about what was awesome.
Only times we laugh a ton at each other is if something retarded happens.

If it was a good match, then we complain about how the match could have been different if we didn't drop whatever combo or finished off that otg or didn't do whatever crap move.

If it was a horrible match one-sided, we skip to the next match.

If something lol happened during the match, we save it.

Have you ever had a match that it was down to the last hit. I will never forget mines it was to the point where we were reading each others moves and time stood still it was one of the best matches i ever had i will never forget it. Nowadays 75% of people i play aren't  no where near as good as me and my friend they don't know how to think and formalize a fight to go there way. One day ill get that nirvana again one day.

I would say so, 1 out of every 4 are close to him in scale the way he's saying it. If it were me, that would be more like 1 out of 20+, that is...if I were to say something like that.  :slowpoke:

But yes, they are. the place I live at, there are so few people into competitive gaming. Everyone out here is just a casual gamer in that they play here and there but don't strive to get any better really. There are a few that do try to improve their game, but most are satisfied with being scrubby because they just game to pass the time.
