SWR has not had an update since its last demo patch in November or so. Tasofro's blog is silent.

According to your profile you're in CA, and there's a pretty large number of CA players... have you tried netplay?

CA is a big place, at least I haven't seen any that are less than say 60-70 miles away. That, and I kinda don't know where to find them <.<

As for netplay, no not really. If it's anything like melty netplay it'll desync every 30 seconds due to sbcglobal adsl being a pos.

He's talking about his ISP. I've been using SBC since I was 12 (I'm 18 now, 19 this year) and I've never had any problems with them. Except the two times the DNS servers died... then I switched to OpenDNS.

Well, desyncs are not disconnections. Very, very different things.

But it doesn't hurt to point out that there aren't any problems with it, anyway!

Let me drop a little math on you guys.

Let p = max/potential skill of player.
Let i = player's skill in IaMP.
Let m = player's skill in MBAC.

p = i + m

Thus, the better you are at one game, the worse you are at the other.

That said, I play Patch and Yukari. I suck though.

I agree about the p=i+m formula, so I've been putting off IaMP so my friends can focus on Melty.

But shouldn't it be:
Let P = max/potential skill of player.
Let I = player's skill in IaMP.
Let M = player's skill in MBAC.
Let a = player's skill in Arcana Heart,

Therefore,
I+a+M=P
