WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

Thanks for the welcoming! It's nice to know someone didn't jump down my throat about posting something kind of lengthy ^_^. There's a part of me that thinks he was being sarcastic too though, lol.

Yes, NekoJesus does have a pretty awesome avatar and signature, haha. Speaking of which, I just changed my avatar, so I wouldn't have like..the same one as someone else :3. Of course..to be quite honest...Len doesn't run that fast, so..it's kind of odd XD

Forgive me if this isn't the correct place to post my greeting..

Hi everyone, I live in Oregon and I'm interested in Melty Blood. I'm downloading it as we speak (modded ps2, shhh >_>), and hopefully I will gain some sort of skill  :D.

As for other fighting games I've played, really not all that many. I used to play Street Fighter Alpha 3 off and on but I was never really good at it. I do, however, play SSBM on a competitive level (my username on http://www.smashboards.com/ is the same as here)

One parting question for you all... how beneficial is a ps2 joystick? Will a regular old ps2 controller have a severe disadvantage over someone playing with a joystick? If I get more interested in this game, is it vital to purchase a joystick?

Hi, I'm Coddfish.
I've only just got into this game, despite having it for PS2 for a little while. Anyway, I mainly play V. Akiha, but Len/Kohaku/Sion all seem fun too.
The "local" arcade (which is actually about an hour's busride from where I live, because I can't afford a car. It is the the best arcade in NZ afaik though, so its worth it) only just got this like last week or so, but I haven't been there since they got it. Apparently its getting a lot of interest, which is good, because I live in NZ where there is pretty much no fighting scene aside from Tekken.

I also play Millia in GGXX (we only have #R at the moment, but apparently the arcade are looking at picking up AC~) and I try to play 3S. Emphasis on "try" :(.

What exactly is a Magic Circuit, in this context? I also don't know how those got there. If any admin sees this, can you remove them if they shouldn't be there? Don't want to be a hax0r  :D

they're reputation points. its just really weird that you have so many and you just only introduced yourself. :mystery:

Lulz, been a member for a while, but never bothered to post. :<  OOPS.

I played at Interface in Simi for a while, but then soooomeone moved it to FFA, so I don't play that much anymore in the arcade.  I normally use Kohaku, Ciel, or Arcueid.  Not too good, but I really enjoy playing, so yeah.  I'm really shy, so if I run into you at FFA, don't get too upset if I get really quiet. XD;

Edit:  And I should probably say my name.  I'm Jessica, and I think a couple people know me~

Choco introduced this game to me here in Arizona....and hes doing a very good job starting the scene here.  I just wish the Soul Calibur scene was big here.
Back in full FX, again.  Getting back into practice, well, that's another thing all together.

A sort of update to my intro:

I went to the arcade today, and MBAC seems popular. Maybe because they just got it, who knows.
I got beasted by a Red Arcueid and a Tohno Akiha though because I fail at defense. :(

Any other New Zealand players here?

I was told to introduce myself or I would get banned (no, not really).  :psyduck:

Anyways, I'm originally from the SRK forums.  I've been playing 3s for a few years now, and really never had a desire to play MB at my local arcade (Arcade Infinity).  It just looked weird, and I think I was turned off by the cat fight environment.  When I finally decided to give it a try cause I was bored, I was like wow...this game is different (in a good way).  Like 3 weeks ago I saw that someone on SRK uploaded the game and decided to give it a go...man I got so addicted to it.  :psyduck: :psyduck:

Luckily some of my arcade friends got into it too...so I'm not totally alone.  I just randomly picked Red Arc...and I think I'm gonna stick with her for now, and learn how to play the game a lot better.  I've mainly been playin on my comp by myself, but I get to play at the arcade as well.  :psyduck: :psyduck:

Oh, and these are by far the best forums I have ever posted in my entire life.  Why is that?  MOTHA FUCKING PSYDUCK EMOTICON. :psyduck: :psyduck: :psyduck: <3<3<3 (I'll quit spamming them  :( )

PS Don't let fat smelly otakus run "ranbats" at your local arcade.

I wasn't the only person that night bitching about him...and I didn't even show up to the tourney, this was the night BEFORE.  And he was following me around for a while...I went to play some 3s and he was like right behind me while I was playing.  When I was done and got up he just nodded like saying "you're aight*  Then his phone rang and he looked at me like saying I'll brb and he walked out. The whole time I said NOTHING to him.  I freaking RAN to the MB machine before he got back and got a game in.  I was trying to warn my friends about him when he showed up, but he was literally speed walking to people whenever they entered the arcade. :psyduck:

Oh, and this guy can't play MB for shit...I've never seen anybody hold the joystick how he was, and he was just 360-motioning it over and over, and he MASHED the buttons like it was 99 all over. =(

yeah iwst i felt the same thing about MB at first. As a 3rd strike player it looked pretty lame to me, but once i started playing i realized how fun it was..

We need more 3s players to give it a chance
