Hey. I'm from Southern Wisconsin. When I first started I used Kohaku and Kouma. Then I decided that Kouma was too cheap and Kohaku was more fun to run around as that to fight with. So... my main's Miyako, though I try and train up a bit with several different characters.

I can't lie. All that Street Fighter I used to play helped. A lot.

Besides the few people that live in the immediate area (who all, save Thana, kind of suck), I don't really know anyone around here that plays the game.

Hello guys, I suppose an introduction is long overdue.  :psyduck:

I'm from a tiny island country they call Singapore. When I was first introduced to MBR I picked up Kohaku and Ciel. Along the way I tried out other characters and started to use Akiha/Vakiha as well. When MBAC rolled along, my main is now officially Kohaku and subs being VAkiha and Nanaya.

I've played countless fighting games in my life - Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Marvel vs Capcom, Soul Calibur, etc - the firm foundation of those fighting games helped to solidify my skills in MB (though they still kinda suck  :psyduck:).

I suppose I'm the only guy from that tiny island country on these forums.

Hello I am aokmaniac13.
Nothing exciting happens here, thus not many people here have been exposed to fighting games.
I found out about Melty Blood through a fighting game engine called M.U.G.E.N and I've been a fan ever since.
My experiences with fighting games date back to playing a game called One Must Fall 2097, but I haven't really played things like Street Fighter and King of Fighters until a couple of years ago.

Here's a peace offering.

I've been playing MBAC for under a week, when Desu7x told me to try it out. Just started using a pad, though I might make a stick soon. Mains are Aoko and V.Akiha, though they both need a lot of practice. Haven't really played many other fighting games since around 98-99, though I have played some MvC2 and a few of the GG games, and been pretty decent. There's no scene where I live, and closest arcade is over an hour away, so it's pretty much just AI chars and netplay for me. Anyone else on the east coast, towards Mass or NH area with any locations to play?
Main: V.Akiha
Alts: Aoko, Red Arcueid, Wallachia

The worst player on the least coast.

Good morning.

Hi I'm "Trop". I generally play league DotA with friends after getting off the sickening drugs that are MMOz. I started playing Melty a few weeks ago after a friend of mine brought the PS2 version over.  I've never really been a big fan of many fighting games, but I guess this one stuck, so I picked a up the PC version.  I basically only play V. Akiha, with an occasionally dash of Ceil.  Since we just started my friends and I are pretty scrub-tastic, but we were thinking about going to the next West Toast to get our asses kicked, but mainly to see the higher tier players play.  (Or maybe an excuse to fuck around for a weekend since we live in the OC area.)  I plan on trolling the forums hard.

@Goodandy

a) no need to get cocky about your design (yay i can use the circle tool too). The organic shit in the background of the b.card is better, provided that you created that as well...

b) real graphic designers are not 20 years of age.

c) a quick search from godaddy: NEWKINDDESIGNS.COM is available! (Check the domain names that you would like to register below.) Why you need multiple domains Tips From An Expert   .com*   .org*   .net*   .mobi*   .info*   .us

d) i'd suggest scrapping this account starting over with a new name.

Well, there probably are some good graphic designers out there under 21. Except they're female. :3

Notice to all newcomers: Posting a full-screen image as your introductory post is retardedly pretentious. Though harmless to everyone but yourself, please refrain from such shenanigans, or I will call Kayin: Beta Assist (Dash-Type) to PATRIOT MISSILE KIIIIKU your post into Sacchin Toast. There are better ways to self-promote.

Half of everyone I know is a graphics artist/web site designer. Too bad you can't get any work doing that by yourself, especially when you're 20.
I heard anime expo isn't going to be that good this year...

All I have to add to this is...

Seeing that you're in your 20's and the fact that your website and/or company isn't off the ground yet I sincerely hope that isn't a personal number that you have listed on your "business card." If so, this could turn into a whole nother Emo-chin situation real fast. :teach:

A forum coordinated ostracism?
I feel right at home!  :D

In all seriousness, the were less humiliating ways to deal with this.
