On a side note, my  copy of Act Cadenza showed up from Play Asia. For some reason, I was expecting a jewel case. Some days, i really hate the switch to DVD cases for games. they suck up so much space. But the full color manual is a nice step up. Now I can finally use the patches from Mirror Moon.

Yea, adultswim really resents their anime since no one watches it, and I really though you would go for Aqua Teen, or even Perfect Hair Forever in terms of mediocre cartoons, Metalocalypse is pretty high-value imo... The really funny thing is that I ended up watching the whole anime series in only 3 nights (what? there's no new Bleach 'til April) and it wasn't bad, although I wish someone would have told me that that guy was the main character -_- (seriously, I might as well be fighting as Mario)

I'd talk more, but this is the intro thread, so I don't really want to stray too far off from the theme x_x
No one bothered to tell me there was a Cellist in the lineup -_-

Character switched.

Welcome aboard Mr. Purple. Get a flip top (cheaper and safer than a mod chip) and get down to some brawlin' in Actress Again.

@ CrossEyes

Glad you enjoyed the anime. It isn't really a great example of anime in general, but for those who want to know a little something about this series without playing Tsukihime (the motion novella that Melty Blood is based upon), it is fairly useful. It leaves something to be desired, but that is what Melty Blood and Mirror Moon patches are for. As for Shiki being the main character...that is debatable. The series is called Tsukihime. That is a direct reference to Arcueid Brunstud, the blonde vampire that ****SPOILERS*****

Shiki cuts to pieces when he first meets her. I feel that as far as the anime is concerned, it is really about Arcueid's story through Shiki's eyes. They obviously don't cover enough ground as not enough is revealed about Arcueid's past nor about what she plans to do as far as being the last pure vampire.

Well that's a relief, I feel a little less like a d-bag now ;D but that's why I usually like to know a little about who I'm playing before I pick a character, one of the big things I look for in a fighting character is personality, otherwise there would be absolutely no excuse for playing as Dan -_-

Damnit I'm rambling again, got to work on that... :-X
No one bothered to tell me there was a Cellist in the lineup -_-

However, I could bug Rick down at James Games and ask him when he plans to invest in Actress Again.

Wait... you live near the James games in Upland?

Some damn good videos you've posted before. I am a fan. Korea? Sry, I don't know much for korean, I can't help you much with translations or anything, but I'm sure someone on this board can be useful for something like that.

Hi all, pretty new to the whole Melty Blood scene. Only been playing a few months but I can honestly say I'm throughly enjoying the game. Suffering from a lack of local competition though, but oh well. I main with C-Moon Kohaku and second with C-Moon Ciel.

Here's hoping I can learn a thing or two around here  :toot:

Hey, just thought I'd introduce myself after lurking for a week.

My name's Chris, go by the alias JUDDERMANG. All the hype over this game for the past week or two got me to research the game (Videos, this forum) and I went and played it at Chinatown Fair today (After trying MBAC on PC), and I think it's awesome. My main is Nero (or is it Chaos? w/e man, HOAAAAAA). I want to get into more sessions to get more indepth with its system. The unity this community has shown has been eyeopening and I hope I can be a part of it. Thanks  ;D

Welcome to the forums  :V

You're still playing MBAC? Almost all of us have moved on to the next installment in the series, MBAA (Melty Blood Actress Again). Consider getting a copy of it to be played on a PS2 (or PS2 emulator).

Hey glad to have you here. His full name is actually Nrvnqsr "Nero" Chaos. I don't actually know if the MBAA cab at CF is the latest version (ver.A) so if someone could clarify that would be great. I'm not EC so I hope you keep playing and that I'll see you at EVO!

I just wanted to try to get a feel for the MB system from MBAC, I'll be getting MBAA soon.

Yeah they have MBAA at CF. Is there a revision that CF hasn't gotten yet? If so, what are the differences between Vanilla and the new version?

Vanilla is buggy as fuck and has dumb infinites. You'll never see version a at CF, Cen is way too lazy.

Heya all, one or two of you might randomly know me, but then again maybe not.

I'm currently in Austin, TX, and I'll go to AUFO occasionally (I suck at stick atm though). I'll still play MBAC though I really want to find some people to play MBAA with in my area. I really want to main all the Kohaku styles, (mostly C though), but right now C is proving a bit too high execution for me x_x Can't do the battou loop at all. Though I do know some of H-Sion and H-Ries as well.

Used to lurk here for a while, but decided to join :B partially for the fact that it won at evo (even though I sadly can't make it), but also because Im hoping to find others near me and I am going to try to make it to FR13 (no guarantees yet though).

Current Main: H-Sion
Alt: H-Kohaku
Planning on switching to H/C-Kohaku soon.

Hey everyone, relatively new player here.

I dabbled with AC in the past, but after playing AA, I was convinced that this is a game I might want to take seriously. I live in Maryland, about 15 minutes from Baltimore and I'm looking forward to some competition.

Currently learning and deciding between F-Sion and F-Ries.

Great! Another MD player. Check out those links in Curbeh's comments. The few of us in MD/VA are taking MBAA pretty seriously, so you'll have some tough competition.
