I've lurked for a while but I think it's time to actually post something. Been playing Miyako since MBAC but I love being able to get massive loli damage with F-Miyako in MBAA.

I used to play in Austin, TX a bit (hi Arcade UFO) but I've since moved to Dallas and am sorely missing being able to play against humans.

lol BB, I used to play that until BB:CS came out and nerfed Rachel to hell and killed her frog.

Hello, people from the Bakery.

I'm Vinicius Vasconcelos (known as Vinn Aleixo, in Brazilian FG Forums).

Unfortunately, in my city, dominated with Old KOF 2002, I am the only Melty Blood player. But, now, with the MB coming to EVO, and going back to SBO, MB is beginning to conquer the Brazilian scene in "Mini Versus Rio Tounament".

I play as C-Hisui in AA.

Nice to meet you!

I prefer the UM Version. But the brazilian old-2002 players hate the UM version because their prefered characters (Kim,Vanessa, May Lee, Angel, and others) has been without infinites, being slow and rebalanced.

Because after the train wreck that was 2001, anything that looked remotely close to the older games seemed godly.

And having played them all up to XI, I think I can gauge that pretty well that if you ask anyone what the worst KOFs were, they'll probalby either say 94, 95, or 2001 - but I'd definitely make 2001 the most likely.

2003 wasn't NEARLY as bad as 2001. Besides, it introduced several characters that are quite likeable.

Yeah prefer UM too probably shoulda' mentioned that, don't like most of the stages on UM though.I like FG stages to have a lonely, gloomy feel to them, like MB or GG.

2000, as a hidden mid-boss (Battle Points have to be 140 or higher by Match 4 I think) or playable with a code.

2001 as a regular character.

Yeah. You won't see May Lee or Angel or K9999 again - Eolith owns the copyrights to those ones, not SNK Playmore.

Unless they're bought by them or something.

I liked May Lee too, for the record. She was just about the only part of 2001 that I did like.

Stopping in to say hello. With a small amount of confidence in my abilities now, I'm going to start conversing with all of you beautiful people.

I just looked out the window and it appears to be a fairly nice day out, mostly blue sky, with a few thin clouds here and there to break up the monotony. Seems like a good time to join another online community.

California. Oakland, to be exact.
I started playing MBAA a few days and I don't think I'll be able to do netplay with my internet friends like I used to. All my impressions from watch the game were proven wrong. I didn't think I'd like Half moon very much, but for most of the characters I've tried so far, its fit me the most. I also thought that I'd like Full, but again, most of the character's i've tried it just doesn't work for me.
There is so much new here, it's rather overwhelming. Hopefully I'll figure it out and go outside to play it.

And I'd rather have her any day compared to Ramon. Bleh.

Ramon is a spaz, but Angel's spaz factor is higher. :P

Hells yeah! I forgot to mention the sad ironic thing about where i live. I live about a 2 mins walk from a mile stretch of arcades but there isn't a single fighting game in about 30 or so buildings! IT IS REDICULOUS! This town could be massive hotspot had the arcade owners not filled everything with time-crisis ffs.
As far as i know there is one Tekken and one Soul Edge but nobody is gonna play those.

That's terrible. But Really no fighting game arcade stations other than tekken and soul edge. Yikes! :emo:

There's some basketball courts opposite the arcade strip that get more attention. It's the owners fault really, it would be nice if i could somehow buy out one of em' though, i'd love to run an arcade.

But that is just a dream right now, i haven't even got a job yet.

Whoops! Turned this into a "whine about your local area" thread for a sec.
