Just curious, to the fighting gamers out there, is MB the only fighter you take seriously? Or are you hardcore in others? I play just about any fighting game, but I want to get serious in Melty Blood as I am in Guilty Gear since I see that I have alot to improve on in the MB series. Im also rtryin to up my game in Arcana Heart aand DOA, and the King of fighters series (Im behind in that :-\)

I play Higurashi Daybreak Kai and Immaterial and Missing Power
I always autopilot :V

Melty Blood is one of my main games currently with my main being Hisui and my alt being Kohaku (go maids. wooo)

Melty Blood is the only FG that i play.
The games i play seriously may be...
Drummania and IIDX.

Since people are putting down skill levels in music games guess i'll list mine too :S

IIDX 11's and 12's (barely in 12 region...slowly wading through it)
Guitar Hero III some expert, don't really play often.

I don't play that many fighters seriously, because I have next to no local competition.
I do, however play Guitar Hero I, II, 80's and III on Expert (though not too well), and Rock Band guitar Expert.
Also currently going through Gears of War Hardcore.

Yeah, pretty much Melty Blood is my main game, but I also play 3S in GGAC. I would play those games alot more seriously, but in Toledo I have 0 competition for either of those 3 games so I usually just play them when I go to gatherings out of town or at tournaments.

Melty is the only game I currently play *seriously*.
However, I am casually learning some others, namely GG:AC (May/Dizzy) and 3S (Makoto/near top-tier guy with speed powerup super. Yun?).
In the past I have played n64 Smash seriously i(Kirby - did i really even have to say? :V).
Also, a bit of SSBM with Marth/Samus in the past, along with MvC2 (lol projectiles Cable/War Machine/Wolverine OR Iron Man)
I've messed around with plenty of other fighters, but none enough to even begin to properly learn a character in.

LOL your my long lost twin brother, I tend to have Little girls as my favorite characters too, cause they're so adorable xD
Darkstalkers series: All time fav anime/gaming character has always been Hsienko, which is where my name came from. I havent played it in a while but will pick it back up once my hand heals (fcked it up playin too much gg >_> tendinitis) since on GGPO vampire savior has net play.
In KOF IX: Hotaru, Momoko, and Kula a three of My Mains, in Guy standards im always a Terry fan, and I played Gato (as Well as Hotaru) since Garou Mark of the Wolves. Previous KOF's My mains included Vice, May Lee, and Shermie "OMMGGG XD SQUEAL"
Guilty Gear (the game I play hardest right now): Ive played numerous characters since GGX, but May is my absolute Main and is the one I spend 75% of my time on.
SSBM: I mess with characters around the board like Mario, Peach, Falco, Roy, Bowser and MewTwo at times, but when its time to get down to bidness and bring out the pain its time to call upon the Yoster :prinny:. Yoshi's been my all time fav in any nintendo game he showed his face in so the SSB series is no different
EFZ: My main was the girl with the sword and the bunny spirit stand like jojo bizarre adventure, The boxing girl, and the girl in the trench coat that faught kinda like felicia with her roll on the ground/bounce off the wall tactics (cant remember the names sorry, havent played that in a while :/)
Arcana Heart: Main is Kamui cause she has the Matoko (from love hina) attitude, look, and fighting style and I love that. The other ones I like to use are Fiona cause its a cute lil girl with a giant broad sword that swings it around like May so whatts not to love. Kira simply because shes so pissed it makes me laugh, and Loislolette cause she seems like a technical character and I like a challenge.
DoA: Bran Wong is main, and close second are Lei Fang and Hulk Hogan aka Bass
Big Bang Beat: Kunagi, Daigo
MvC2 Son Son ftw (Kawaii Monkeh Girl XD)
DDR: Standard to Heavy, im gettin there :p
I also play random anime games like Bleach Blade Battlers 2 (Main Zaraki Kenpachi *_* crazy nigga, the rest, Ulquiorra, Hiraiko,and Yorichi). Naruto GNT series: Hinata Rock Lee, Jiraiya and in Naruto Accel its the same just throw in Sasori and Chiyo Ba sama. One Piece Grand Battle: Sanji, Luffy, and Kuro.

MB is the only fighter I've been playing lately, but I used to be local king of the hill in Street Fighter Alpha 3, playing Shin Akuma, Vega/Balrog (depending on your location), Cammy, Fei Long and Guile. :P

MB is the only fighting game with a decent online function, so it's the only game I've really looked stuff up for despite still being better at Guilty Gear or Third Strike, but I really don't take any fighting games that seriously. No competition up here, only one friend good at fighting games, etc.

No, MB is not the only game I take seriously.
I also play 3s (Ken), Guilty Gear (Potemkin) and Arcana Heart (Heart).

MB is the only FG I really play "seriously." As in, I play it a lot on a casual level. I usually switch between it and whatever FPS fits my fancy at the moment, unless I happened to be hooked to an MMO at the moment.

I've never been above a casual player of video games.
I really don't care about competition in fighting games. I play Melty Blood(Hisui&Kohaku), but I play more Guilty Gear(Axl) than it. I also play other FGs like MvC1(Capt. America and Morrigan), Darkstalkers(Jedah) and 3S(Ibuki), but only reallt to kill time or for casual play.
I really play more RPGs and action games like Devil May Cry.

Melty is one of my main games though I will play just about any other arcade fighter (except GG, cause that mess is hard).
In order of most played:
CvS2: K-any combo of Raiden/Cammy/Chang/Athena/Morrigan/Maki then Zangief2
Melty: Hisui, Kouma, Kohaku, W.Len
3S: Dudley, Hugo
MvC2: Spiral/Megaman/Tron or Juggs/Hulk or Tron/Zangief
A3/ST: Zangief

Melty: Miyako, Hisui, Tohno Shiki.
Third Strike: Makoto (She's a stunner :3)
Capcom vs SNK 2: K-groove Ryu, Terry, Kim, Mai, Hibiki, Joe, and Dan (The first three I main and Dan is there just for fun :3)
Marvel vs Capcom 2: Felicia, Ryu, Ken, Jill, Son Son
Soul Caliber 2: Nightmare
Guilty Gear: Jam
King of Fighters XI: Duck, Kim, Kyo, Terry, Kensou, Ralf, Malin.
I'm also gonna get carried away with this so I'm gonna stop there; there are other games that I also play seriously, such as Call of Duty 4 or Halo 3...
or WoW *hides in a foxhole*.
