I told yeah it was something to look forward to. It's down right amazing, and to boot I've been arguing with someone elsewhere that's saying that the animation is low quality and the artists where cheaping out. I'm serious that they are standing by that.

Now on a different matter, my limited edition came in the mail today, I'm totally giddy, pictures shall come.
There are some things that scream out bad (or at least sub-par) animation, like when Shiki was opening the water bottle cap early in the movie.  That made me wtf cuz her hand just started to kind of spaz out.  lol.  Some parts had godly animation though, like the rooftop fight scene.

On another note, is anyone else re-reading KnK again as a refresher to seeing all the movies?

Very Epic.

Fix'd.

But anywho, for those interested, I'm currently upping the novels as we speak. They are both in .png and .txt just in case you want to use software to translate it. I'll edit my post as they finish.

True, they have been, but that's all they are doing. So don't expect to finish the story with that  :blah:

Uh, Baka-Tsuki has more than just the first 3 chapters.  They have it translated up to a quarter of the way through ch.5.  You might want to hit them up for that, if you haven't read up that far yet.

I just re-read all of the translated bit (it's been a while since I've read it, so I wanted a refresher) and man...I really wish the rest would get translated.  *sigh*  It's too good to be neglected like that.  Anyway, hopefully the movies will spurn some more interest from potential translators, since there's a surprising amount of hype around them.

Huh, very good find. I only knew of the translation that Mirror-moon did. And I concur, it's sad it's never been fully translated.

The climax was awesome, REALLY awesome. And the scene where she lolld on the bed~ "Eat the damn thing." Aww~ <3

There is a reason I've been trying to whore people into watching it. It's fucking amazing, and is still in my dvd player after receiving it in the mail a while back. Seriously worth every god damn penny.

Christ, have you seen the exclusive Japan is getting for Volume 4? Everything from towels to mugs. The fucking bastards.

I don't disagree that it's great, but you guys are acting like it's some kind of perfect incarnation of KnK or something.  In all honesty, it left out some important things and there were awkward moments in the animation.  That doesn't make it bad, but it sure does keep it from being one of the best, I'd say.

Yeah, after seeing it for the 5th time now, I agree on some things, but that doesn't make it bad or doesn't change the fact it's awesome and it's like a christmas present when you're are a little child.
Still, I hunger for the next volume.

The time is fine to learn the movie by heart and recite every line and scene within it.

And then we re-enact the whole movie?

You know what's funny, since the movie volumes go in direct order of the books, the second part to volume 2 won't be until like volume 7, IIRC.  All the peoples are gonna be like RAAAAAGE WHAR BE MAH PART TWO and I'll just be lolling.

I didn't mean "novel volume" by "volume", I meant "in the next episode of Kara no Kyoukai, Garden of Sinners! Confrontation of ultimate destiny, Shiki meets Chuck Norris and kills him, dattebayo!".

I really need to go through the novel again, as my timeline is so out of whack. Part II to the next volume is actually volume 7, not 3.  :psyduck:

I kinda mentioned that already, but saying that, it doesn't leave that large of a cliffhanger between volume two and seven.

My bad, I forgot that you mentioned it completely.   :slowpoke:  And I think that the cliffhanger at the end of part 2 is pretty big business, personally.  Not getting a clear representation between that and the event that sent Shiki into the coma for two years.
