"Keiko Takemiya, the pioneering shōjo manga artist and science fiction creator of To Terra…, Andromeda Stories, and several other titles, is appearing at the Santa Monica, California branch of the Barnes & Noble bookstore chain on Saturday, September 15 at 3:00 p.m. PT. The event will include book signings. Takemiya's To Terra… manga series inspired the current hit anime television adaptation from Aniplex. Update: Takemiya is also appearing at Hawthorne branch of the Powell's Books store chain in Portland, Oregon on Monday, September 17 at 7:30 p.m. PT." Source: Vertical weblog
