Kyokushi: Nanaya
« on: August 19, 2008, 08:31:18 AM »

I've draw the last-arc pose of nanaya with my tablet.

Anyway, What do you think about this arc-drive?

(To me it's no good. you can't have additional hits, little damage... no circuit break... only the gesture is awesome)

It's flashy and looks cool, but if you know to expect it, you can bait it with projectile spamming.

Nice pic btw, draw Executioner Ciel next  :fap:

Maybe I'll try ciel's arc-drive pose later.

Someday I'll make a flash animation related to MB

The arc drive is shit unless you can skillfully punish with it, but the last arc is pretty good.  Half a life bar in damage is nothing to scoff at.

No not at all, its a great last arc, however, it does attack at standard character waist level screen wide, so characters like the nekos are pretty much immune to it. same with Ciel's air knives, Mech-Hisui's air shotgun, etc. etc.

Haven't seen too many people, however, actually use last arcs...most of the time, they just burn the meter all the way down with health regen.

I used to spam last arcs all the time solely because "shit looks cool". Of course people caught on after oh two matches so I was just going around spamming shield like an idiot.

Nice picture btw.

Actually, in most cases Nanaya's Last Arc doesn't do half life bar damage. I've done it plenty of times on people with like 1/3 life left but it doesn't finish them off. I think it's very easily influenced by proration.

And nice pic.

And of course what character they're using. Vermillion Akiha easily takes half life bar damage from it but normal Akiha for example doesn't take nearly as much.
