A good one.
This, lol.

You need some good ram and a decent graphics card or something, I guess. I have an HP Pavilion DV6000 laptop and MBAC runs very well on it.

A good one.
Not nessarily, Kix runs it fine with a celeron and 256Ram
i run it on a 1.8 p4 with 512 32bit and full screen.
graphics is the thing. i used to run it on my old back up PC, it was a 1.8 with 64mb graphics (back with MBR) and i got a 512mb for it and it ran much faster.

Of course, you can always disable 32bit textures and effects, and set (in Options mode inside the game) the game backgrounds to Simple to reduce the strain on the video card, and even a machine with integrated graphics will run the game pretty damn smoothly.

MBAC isn't exactly a complicated game - I think the system specs only require 256 megs of RAM. Which is pretty much nothing.

I wouldn't even consider "can it run MBAC" a factor in buying a computer. Let's put it this way - I just looked at the prices/specs of Laptops these days and when looking at the cheapest laptops I had difficulty trying to find anything with less than 2 gigs.

Checking out processors went similarly.

If "Can it run MBAC" one of your top factors to buying a computer, I would hate to see what you would get if it falls in the "No" category

I got you one for that. An old Compaq Armada my dad has, barely has around 10GB or less of HDD space and, like, 64 (or so) megs of RAM. And it runs XP Pro SP2 just fine. :P

I wonder if there's a laptop that couldn't activate MBAC these days  :)

You shouldn't worry about anything unless you buy it from second-hand shop.

Me have a laptop and it's Celeron 1.73 Ghz 2GB memory, and ATI Radeon 1300M, and the game works perfectly.

Just buy a good one.
