We offer you an exclusive look at the first images of two authentic 2D arcade fighting games finally emulated: Capcom Vs. SNK 2 and Guilty Gear XX: The Midnight Carnival. Unfortunately this is all information that allows us to offer now, confirmation has to be made until the relevant official announcements.
This may have been awesome if we didn't already get a PC port for Act Cadenza :V

Actress Again.
-
If Actress Again is gonna run on Naomi, you can be sure as fuck this is one helluva news.
-
Did you guys forget MvC2. w00t I can stop using dreamcast emu's, and what does accent core run on even though I already have Accent Core, this could be cool?
-
every GGXX game is naomi
Actress Again is confirmed to be naomi as well
-
...Excuse me while I go get something to clean the mess of creaming my pants.
-
So kids an early version naomi emu has been out for awhile. When they get it working better and add in some good netplay you know what it's time to play right?
Some motherfucking Power Stone.

oh yes
I'm still not sure of a good place to get some NAOMI roms/gd-roms though. wakawaka

It's been confirmed, once NAOMI emulation is running smooth, and is compatible with nFBA, it will be on GGPO, So we're probably seeing CvS2, MvC2, GGAC, MBAA, even Blitz, possibly, and other games on the great netplay client.

I would just like to state that anyone even thinking of linking to copyrighted content is going to get slapped into the next zip code (or postal code, for you wacky Canadians).
For the truly anal-retentive, this is not a statement against emulation talk. If it was, I would just lock the thread. Just don't do anything stupid.
-
I have been messing with the emu it runs GD-Roms pretty much perfectly, I don't have any roms for obvious reasons, but from what I have heard the currently go *kablam on pretty much everything, cause they haven't cracked the encryption right yet but once they do that they should also run fine I am expecting this to be good by the end of this year, and you can already play power stone or at least my CD works.

Nah, don't worry, I wasn't asking for anyone to post anything here.

Although I understand forbidding linking to image dumps, linking to emulators, as far as my understanding goes, should be okay, right?
-
For anyone interested in knowing what's been dumped so far (not in any way a compatibility list)

i dont see no akatsuki

If he doesn't know the GD-ROM number it's not going to be there.
-
Epic indeed. Haven't had much luck running most of the games I tried, save for CvS2 and GGXX, but both ran pretty damn smooth...the only problem would be the fact I had to switch to XP just to get the damn input working :emo:
Apparently I need to read up on it more, though, as the different dumps and .lst files and BIOS and all that crap are giving me hell.
-
this is so awesome.
What does AH run on?

EX-board, and don't expect that to be emulated anytime soon if ever.

I second that. I love Akatsuki BK, and I rellah wanna try Akatsuki AA on an emulator or SOMETHING!
-
bump, im too lazy to look for pics, but MBAC does indeed work on nullDC (mostly 2 main problems, 1 the health bar looks f-ed up, but you can still read it, and second everytime an attack hits the whole screen goes white for an instant) they are supposedly they are clearing that error up now, but considering that AA is on a cart(correct me if I am wrong.) and not a GD-ROM unless some miracle occurs the PC-game will proably be out first, plus I bet they are going to make netplay native in this one, so doesn't look like mauve is going to have to get caster to work on another game.
Supposity makeron test 11 runs it just fine, but null acually runs at reasonable speed(even with emulating vertex shader 2.0)
can't wait for AA to come out for PC if it ever does, cause emus are cool but they never ever can replace the real thing well not for a few more years at least.
-
My dreams of playing AA prior to 2010 have been shattered.
