Akatsuki Blitzkampf going to arcades

The November issue of Arcadia magazine apparently has a scoop on Akatsuki Blitzkampf AC, which is going to be the arcade version of the Akatsuki Blitzkampf, a doujin 2D fighter developed by Subtle Style.

ALPHAxOMEGA

The Alter and Megahouse collaboration brand Alpha Omega official site has launched. Two figures have been revealed in association with the site launch. The 1/8 scale Code Geass C.C. and Karen PVCs. As of October 3rd both these figures have been made available for pre order with the release date looking to be sometime in February of next year. Any figure collectors out there should be keeping an eye on this collab as both Alter and Megahouse on their own have a good reputation for quality and if AO's first two figures are any sign of what's to come than I can only expect even greater things from this union.

As a bonus here are two figures for all you "Mizuki's" out there:

Epic Relationship:

A 17 year old girl sets fire to her boyfriends apartment after getting annoyed at the adult DVDs and memos of girls names that he had lying around.

The girl regrets her actions while the guy says "I understand her feelings and want to marry her..."

Anime characters handle your money?:

Searchina reports that a woman in her 20s was arrested in China for smashing two ATMs with a brick. The reason? An anime character appears on the screen when you use the ATM, and she thought it was inside the machine, so she smashed it open because she wanted to see the character.

The reason for having smashed two ATMs was because she saw that there was nothing inside when she smashed the first one, so she tried a second one.

The quote is from the source itself not the article. Sorry, I just noticed that I didn't really make that clear. Also here is the original jp source link:

I'm suprised anyone even reads this shit.

Anyways, some quick news for the 2-3 of you who read this thread:

Wii Remote™ = New stick?:

Today (October 16th) Guilty Gear XX Accent Core for the Nintento Wii, ships to retailers nationwide, courtesy of Aksys Games.

"Guilty Gear XX Accent Core for the Wii is hardcore 2-D fighting for the masses," said Gail Salamanca, Director of Marketing, Aksys Games. "Having the option to play with the Wii Remote™ and Nunchuk™ is a great way to introduce the casual gamer to a game that is largely considered to be one of the most technical 2-D fighters ever made. That can be quite intimidating to someone who's never played a Guilty Gear game. With the Wii version, users can easily get into the game and start having fun."

“Moe” propaganda book goes on sale:

Akiba Blog yesterday reported the release of Moyuru Kami no Kuni!, a 270-page moe-clad manifesto from Ikaros Publishing (not to be confused with Icarus Publishing) of what appears to be softcore Japanese nationalist propaganda. Art is from miko legend Tanaka Shoutarou, with text by Suzuki Doitsu, author of Gundam and the Second World War, among others; the book’s content includes such themes as “the reason Japan hasn’t been invaded until now is the presence of the JSDF and the US military”, “there are other righteous wars that should be fought beyond wars of self-protection”, “in order to be accepted as a trusted, normal member of the international community, we must amend the constitution”, “rational countries such as Japan should possess nuclear weapons”, “are there any other countries beyond China, North Korea and South Korea who object to devotional shrine visits honoring our war dead?”, and “sexy miko in lingerie”. If this book becomes a best-seller, one of the above themes in particular seems to stand out as why…

Oh snaps. Viral Marketing part 2

My stance on this:
"Basically, it means that Lucky Star is not licensed, but available for licensing through Kadokawa USA."
