Recording MBAACC video

I didn't think this belonged in the tech support or video forum.  How do you guys record MBAACC gameplay?  I tried fraps, but it either crashes the game or causes a screenshot to be taken of every frame (in the game folder), making it lag horribly when I start recording.  Any suggestions?

Sorry if this has been discussed before and I didn't see it; I've only been playing MB for 3 days.

Don't save the video on the same hard drive as the game.

Don't record while playing. Save the replays of the matches you want recorded. Then use fraps to record the replays. It's 60 fps so make sure you specify that in fraps. The files you record will likly be more than 4Gb, and be broken into smaller files by fraps, so use some editing software to combine them into one video, and export uncompressed or losslessly. Then use an H.264 encoder to make the final encode and compress to a more reasonable file size.

That makes sense.  I've been playing a lot of arcade mode for practice, which is why I didn't consider trying to fraps the replays yet (you can't get replays from arcade mode, can you?).  Thanks, I'll give that a shot.

Man, arcade mode trolls so hard. I had a dozen hits ExShielded in a row by Beef bot.
