Really? I don't see one. Anyways, this board's open for anything, so feedback/suggestions here are fine.

Also forum wise what are magic curcuits?
: Re: There needs to be a Site Feedback & Suggestions board.
: Arlieth Tralare February 25, 2007, 04:25:04 PM
Magic Circuits = Reputation/Karma.

Also, you could resize/edit your previous avatar to fit the dimensions, or i might try allowing bigger ones too. What's the size of it?
: Re: There needs to be a Site Feedback & Suggestions board.
: ಠ_ಠ Dizzynecro February 25, 2007, 04:27:10 PM
width 160 hight 64. its not really a big deal tho.
: Re: There needs to be a Site Feedback & Suggestions board.
: Arlieth Tralare February 25, 2007, 04:32:43 PM
Ahh. I think i see the problem, I need to install a module to allow auto-resizing for those boundaries.

Also hoooooly crap you should install a module that allows users to change the posts per page that they see. Reading forums at 15 pages a post makes me sad.

The side scrolling bars seem to only appear if my browser isn't maximized. Am I violating any avatar dimension restrictions btw? :X

Naw, if you violated any dimension restrictions, the board would tell ya.

: Re: Site Feedback & Suggestions Thread

I'm using Firefox but I also checked with IE. No scrollbars at all. ???
: Re: Site Feedback & Suggestions Thread
: ಠ_ಠ Dizzynecro March 01, 2007, 09:50:43 PM
Its because you have your resolution set higher than average. I messed with my screen resolution and got the scrollbar to disapear.

I'm not exactly talented but if you just want imiages that are allready made to be turned into a .gif i could probably do it, since that just means animating them and saving as .gif ... i usualy just animate random  sprites from MB ... win poses and such, ive actualy got some random  ones posted somewhere on SRM

1) The rolleyes emote on here is broken. The code for it just produces a colon followed by the smiley face. Maybe it's only broken in the quick edit (clicking on it produces ::) ).

2) I request more emotes, specifically these:

Yeah because some people don't like seeing images when using the internet.

I mean IMAGES on the INTERNET, that's crazy.

: Arlieth Tralare March 31, 2007, 10:17:40 PM
Hey Kumu, tone it down a little.

Hey Hintalove, we pretty much decided that image sigs (because they can't be regulated/size-restricted, among other reasons) are disabled here. Meh.
: Re: Site Feedback & Suggestions Thread
: Hintalove March 31, 2007, 11:52:05 PM
You could warn/ban people that go outside of the acceptable range of size, and I'm pretty sure if things really did get out of hand you could always take the feature off. In any case, it just doesn't really feel like a 'forum' with out sigs  :-\

No one other than moderators and admins can currently post in the Melty Bread Article Discussion forum, which makes it somewhat difficult to discuss the articles.

The video section has a nice banner.  Unforutnately it's too wide to fit with the "who's online" info box on the right, and the formating gets destroyed.  I'm using exploder but I doubt it's what's causing this to happen.

Oy. If this message board has any rules, like they should visible or something. Cause I don't see any. ??? I don't wanna get banned for somethng I didn't know.

I'm also very curious to know the Avatar limits. Not just size, but content-wise too.

Oh and how do you give someone Magical Circuit?

lol, I don't believe that you will be insta-banned for something unless it's REALLY bad.  I'm sure you'll be warned/notified if you do anything that is unacceptable, though there isn't really that much that IS unacceptable here.  Everyone's pretty laid back.  =>

The most solid rules are explained on the Sacchin Toast thread because it's also the most permissible. The only person ever banned was Tshkn, and that's because he was harassing other members on this board. Aside from that, don't do anything on here that would get us(and you) in legal trouble, i.e.: distributing warez, posting underage pr0n (real or loli/hentai) or making threats of any kind.

Crap, there goes my hopes of someone posting Nanaya raeping Miyako prons in Sacchin Toast. :emo:

As to an actual suggestion, is there a way to let the user change the board's overall color theme? There's an option to do that in some of the other boards I lurk in, like the Initial-d.com forums (they let you choose the default color scheme, a light theme, and a dark theme). I'm not saying I don't like the color scheme already lol, but I noticed this option isn't here.
: Re: Site Feedback & Suggestions Thread
: Arlieth Tralare August 10, 2007, 01:02:39 PM
It's been disabled because it would otherwise require me to apply new customizations to every single possible color (i.e. sacchin icon).

Just something that has bugged me for a long time now.

When I type a reply and hit post or preview, sometimes the site tells me that I'm no longer logged in, due to a time out of the secession, and asks me to log in again.
Then when I log back in, it does not take me to my post or preview, and all the text I just typed is lost.

Am I doing something retarded? I do have the little check box for keeping me always logged in checked, but I still get logged out all the time. Am I missing something in my browser options?

Regardless of if I can prevent this kind of problem by always being logged in, the truth is that I don't want to always be logged in.

Is it possible to get a preview of a reply when I hit the preview button and the site asks me to log in again? I'd like to not have to retype a post because I had to log in again after hitting preview or post. Why does it not keep all the text in this situation?

Am I just ignorant and asking the impossible? Should I have to have another tab open to just open random posts so I don't get logged out?

I haven't had this particular issue, but i always CTRL+C my text before clicking "post" or "preview" just in case something should happen. Doing the same might save you some grief.
