...but i was more focused on the game play. I have no idea as to how to 'play' the game but I can see many pseudo-fighting mechanics (tech roll punish, throw traps/setups, 'corner' traps,  footsies  :psyduck:) that got me kinda hyped. That and I <3 marth  :-[.

I would play this game....on stick  :-\.

Ok I was a bit vague. I think he sucked because it was pretty clear that he had no idea what exactly the players were doing. Unlike the commentators at WT who do play-by-play commentary and use the lingo that the players are familiar with. It just sounded like random thoughts that popped into his head at the moment which were just barely related to the game. It was an improvement over the semi-finals though, where he was using the word "serious" in almost every other sentence. <.<

Oh yeah, and Marth is a fairy. :V

Well I know the guy personally, and he said that match in particular made him extremely interested in getting into the game, thus he'll learn more about it.

I'd still prefer that over a voice over of everything that's being thrown out.

I didn't like the commentator at first, but he grew on me.  His voice is smooth and relaxing.  And from watching the CvS2 matches, I really loved the way he said, "Oh man, what's gonna happen".  No idea why.

Oh no no no, he does something much MUCH worse, he wears a tiara. ;D Collecting tea cups isn't something you'd know about just by appearance. :P Ike should replace Marth in Brawl. Just take a look at this and many will agree. I was all for Marth's return until I saw that. :(

Back to the topic, Smash combos! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9F_q-ZFuZi4 Pulled off a gazillion combos against his guy. It's a really old match back when I was still playing the game seriously but whatever. I included some clips from this match into the combo vid I made several months ago. This guy was talking trash about how he could 4-stock me and a bunch of other people. So when I went over to his house I pretty much mopped the floor with him. This is one of the few matches that got recorded that day. And I still don't know why he bothered to put my real name in the title of the video because only people whom I hold in high regard are allowed to address or refer to me by my real name. >:(

No that wasn't me asking him how long he played the game. It was someone else asking another guy who was there. And I don't understand why he would want to upload that match but he did and it saved me some time. And come on, it wasn't that one-sided. He took a stock off me. :V

If you're looking for Marth matches, look up Ken or sephirothken. On top of being the world SSBM champion, he is the god of Marths. I got the chance to play him a couple of times at his tourneys before, but it wasn't pretty. But that's besides the point. x_X
