Tskihime needs a new OVA because i dont think thw first anime lived up to the manga.

I liked the anime for what it was, basically the Arc True route with important elements of other paths carefully placed in.
Not to mention, the animation was beautiful and I find myself listening to the soundtrack a lot.

The soundtrack was phenominal. But after playing the game, I think that the anime could have been better, even though it didn't diverge too much from Arc's true route. Would be nice to see it redone :3

"don't think it lived up to the manga" yet what I was saying is I think the manga came out afterward, so I was asking if you meant that it didn't live up to the game. It couldn't have lived or not lived up to the manga that came afterwards when it was based off the game?
And the game is extremely rare as far as I can tell, I want it so bad (meaning I don't have it).

Yeah, the manga was made after the anime, and even that deviates a little from the Visual Novel's story. Atho it's still on the same basic track.
As for the Visual Novel, I just downloaded it~

How about to mention to be in Anime; Kagetsu Tohya, Kara no Kyoukai or Melty Blood. ;D I love to see Shiki's continuation. Hoping toget to see appearance from the Games from Tsukihime series.

I might need the visual novel since I was kinda dissappointed in the anime (eh, 12 eps long while FSN and Higurashi was 26?!?); anyone know where to get the visual novel?

When it comes to the anime, they tried at least. They were able to do Arc's true story with only a few major problems that only an annoying fanboy would complain abou- oh wait...

Sacchin actually lived, seriously what the hell is that.
Kohaku wasn't faking being happy, and was just a stupid side character... which is absolutly unforgivable. :'(
Apart from some other backsotry parts they did follow Arc's story nicely.
However, that made all fans of other characters a little annoyed, same thing happened with FSN (actually my main beef with that anime is CG dragon and how they tricked everyone in the 2nd opening with UBW)
Overall though the anime has some very nice artwork and a good sound track. Game is still loads better though. :D

Hope there will be a new Melty Blood which it includes New character, Shiki Ryougi. ;D
EDIT: Also, hoping for the renewal of Shingetsutan Tsukihime (Anime).

nah Shiki Ryougi seems to unlikely for a character for melty blood.... if you have hopes for a new character... i'd think the most possible would be a not-too-overpowered dead apostle

iirc she is Aoko's familiar made from the remains of Warachia or something like that.

also is there an english patch for the ReAct PC version?? seems like a lot of info but can't read kanjis :-[
