Video Plagarism?

So I was browsing a few videos on YouTube for Melty Blood related vids, and I happen across this particular work:

Now never mind the fact that there's absolutely no MBAC combos being used here. It ends up becoming something more of an MAD at best, which wouldn't be bad in itself except for one important part:

All of the footage used in it? Yeah, it's been used before. He doesn't seem to explicitly credit the original creators of the vids, and instead takes each of them apart, reorganizes them, puts them back together and overlays a new song on top of it.

I think it's blatant plagiarism. What is your opinion on this matter? Discuss.

I've seen enough Type-Moon MADs to recognize most of the sequences. Do a search for Krsnik and Farce/Melty Blood on YouTube and you'll see what I mean.

Lol, it's not really my place to do so either. It just brought up an interesting thought, especially given this age of internet misinformation. The original source of a subject usually now becomes heavily obscured these days because it passes through so many hands (lol Wikipedia), and so nobody even knows who said what anymore. The same could be said of this piece of work, especially given that you probably wouldn't recognize the works either unless I would have pointed it out.

Before the thread goes off-topic, I'm not going to encourage raiding this guy and flooding his comment box with accusations of plagarism, lol! I made the thread because I'm wondering what people think constitutes as plagiarism in this case, so please keep this thread for that purpose.

well i looked for the two other videos you said, and that video of his/hers is the prime definition of plagiarism. as much as i didn't want to post a comment on his video, i just couldn't help myself. like if a person is going to make an "AMV" like he/she intended. he/she should at least take the time and effort to create something from scratch as opposed to just taking other videos, ripping them and claiming them as his/her own. hell even real AMV's credit which anime they used for their video (if it's not already blatantly obvious)

at 1:20 it is the same as 1:23

EDIT: 4:41 of his/her video, i'm pretty damn sure the music playing isn't "Holy Orders Be Just or Be Dead" and the entire last part = farce/melty blood

Not enough information given to find the original source of his material. It's plagiarism, whether intended or not.


The only thing left to dispute is whether his material is public domain or not.

When I read that he thought the song he used was "made for Type-Moon" I really wasn't expecting 80's montage music...

Yeah, I think I enjoyed the most the Credits for the video, Desperation, which had the background music of, Holy Orders, Be just or Be dead. He should really tell the director of Desperation to change the credits so its less blatant that he's stealing their work.

yea.. i just love how he/she deleted all of the comments pertaining to plagiarism and is still defending his statement that he/she didn't plagiarize. i mean come on... he/she fucking stole the credits from a different video much less the title intro of that particular video (this was "Desperation").

This video is a completely failure.  The song is terrible(for this video), the video is stolen, and it doesn't have anything to do with Melty Blood at all.

I do not own the band, song, or game.

More like I do not own a single damn thing in this whole movie.  Based on his comments, I really don't think he knows what he's doing wrong.  You can't but help "borrow" material from other people when doing any sort of artistic thing, but this is basically taking a deck of cards, shuffling it, and saying that I just made something completely brand new, hey everyone look at me I want attention.
