Naw, I don't think we're in competition for members. Since SRM and Melty Bread have different focuses (netplay vs tourney play), if or when the MB scene takes off on a larger scale, both places will be seeing more people.

Anyways, the only real point of contention are the Read/Unread icons (Sacchin and Akiha, respectively). That was hdphnz's original idea and required a slight modification from the original template. Everything else could've been a complete coincidence.

Ehrik wanted to upgrade the forum he got a host the host has smf and phpbb2 installed he used smf. The dilber theme is the best looking theme on smf honestly, i thought to myself well SRM is a MB forum and most of the members there are fans first and players second and i knew they would appreciate something like that so i modded the theme with custom icons, i didn't really think it would be a big deal ... i did however use some sprites i found form a link someone posted here, if the owner of them has a problem with my useage of them i can allways have Ehrik change them(i did use them without asking about it and such X_X). when i made the modded theme i wasn't thinking of copying you guys in anyway, i just wanted SRM to feel more like MB and i think i accomplished that, Now that everyone can chose their fave char to assist them in viewing the forum.

We aren't competing for members or anything, Its pretty obvious that SRM members are more fans than Fighting Game Professionals. . . Otaku?

Anyways Dilber looks good and is easy to mod, I'm sorry if i unintentionally made SRM look like MB, If it will cause any unnecessary trouble i can talk to Ehrik about it.

BTW, Isn't that special color just so HAX

I'm working on more colors so we can have all the chars selectable but I'm pretty retarded when it comes to image editing so its slow X_X.

yay for remaking a board that is a dupe of mbread? I don't know, I haven't checked srm in months, but now it has switched sites twice? (in the last 3 months) I doubt this is coincidental. and lols at brandino for stealing H-F's guide/

Yeah I don't think it's coincidental either. As for brandino, he didn't really steal the entire thing, mainly the thread title and the entire strengths/weaknesses section. But I'll leave it at that so we're not beating a dead horse here.

Sweet XD, i think it will be all good for intercommunication between our communities, its the best thing for MB if we can appeal to both kinds of players and help eachother out.

We do actually have a mini banner thing i used to have it on my site, but if you need a specific size ill ask for another made.

Sleepy, It is actually coincidental i really wasn't even thinking of Meltybread when i was doing that theme i wanted to use the cute or funny images for each char and give SRM a melty blood feel to it, most of the SRM members are anime fans and such you know. I really think it looks good and theres even that custom totally crazy color version, and the forum only changed once from invision free to a paid server and ehrik did a special random thing for April 1st.
