What program to record videos?
« on: September 11, 2009, 09:58:41 PM »
Hey guys! Recently I've been searching for programs to record some replays and put them on youtube, but so far all the programs I've tried were not good  (low fps videos :emo:).

Since you may have experienced this situation, what program would you recommend me? :mystery:

A little bit of console ain't too bad.

I tried Fraps and it didn't work too well. And for some reason Camstudio wouldn't capture audio from my comp. I've currently got Growler Guncam(free version) installed and it seems to work decently.

Not Camtasia; that program is awful for it. I'm on the market for a new program.

Get Fraps and set it to record the videos on a DIFFERENT HDD UNIT (not just a different partition). You'll see how it works wonderfully.

You don't. For those you use Windows Media Encoder.

I hope I can ask this question here.

Whenever I press the record video hotkey on Fraps and press it again to stop recording, Fraps always crashes and the video I recorded I can't play. Whattup?
