Looks less like Dynasty Warriors and more like a decent action/adventure game like god of war, devil may cry, ninja gaiden...that sort.  Not a super hoard of enemies to deal with at once, air dashes which signal some hefty action based movement, and specials like his flame shit.

At first I was disgusted that they changes the entire game around...but now I'm thinking this has some promise.

Also, although Shin's character design is kind of gay looking, weilding a big ass flag as a weapon is pretty cool.

It looks like a decent-enough looking game, certainly pretty, but it bothers me that they called it "Guilty Gear."  You associate that name with what it's always been through the last four years.  It really should have been called something different while remaining the same universe, like the association between DOA and Ninja Gaiden.  Even keeping it sort of an expansion of the series, like "Guilty Gear: <insert name here>"  would have been more appropriate than labeling this as a sequel to something its not.  I suppose marketing-wise its good to give it a name that's familiar to many games, but I won't shake it off easily.

I'll still check it out though.
