New midscreen crescent combo here. At least it's news to me.

2a5c4c5bb tk236a jab jbc

Damage is still pretty weak, but carries them further into the corner. Not enough for corner-to-corner in AA, but I believe it would do fullscreen in AACC. If you play around with the pre-ribbon placing of VAkiha and the tigerknee direction, you can end up crossing them up, and doing the sideswap 2.0.

wonder if you can add an airdash attack in the aerial portion of the combo to sneak in some more distance. e.g. jab>airdash>jb>dj bc (sdj if necessary)
:mystery:
zar are you even aware that your attitude is what drove people off in the first place. i think zar's attitude is worse than all of that. cause neither of you guys mean anything. but zar can poison shit around him. zar's the one that gets personal online and does realtalk that's out of line.

You can do tk9 jab airdash jb j8 jc. No delay on the tigerknee gives a crossup, slight delay continues the combo in the same dirrection. It carries them a bit more but seems weird on some hitboxes. For example it crosses up Nero at the last jC in the opposite direction (yay double crossup combos). It's doable on Len with appropriate spacings. It really depends whether the non-aridash combo will be enough to put them all the way in corner in CC.

Crescent:
JC - Ground Untechable, No cancels from "air hit"

does anyone mind a bit more detail on this matter? does it just solely mean 'if you hit someone with it in the air WHILE their are Airborne you CANNOT cancel a special or super?'

i get the obvious of why that Above would be the case, otherwise you cud just a Pit setup of any random combo from JC. but until now i just thought it was No cancel at all, since it's an air move.

so if you hit someone with JC and tha hit gives the properties of the Air to Ground Untechable your unable to cancel any move correct? meaning like in the the 'link' above if you land a hit/block of JC ya still can Perform a Special/super.

afaik it's special cancelable on block and i don't see why it wouldn't be special cancelable on hit and it may also only have this property in CC

i give up on these forums... don't bother to answer my questions directly and no further proof of what is mentioned.

doesn't mean i'm quiting the game though (hell no!)

He answered your question to the best of his abilities, in case you forgot that pretty much no one has played CC in America.

It's very hard to get info on little stipulations like that without access to the game. It could or couldn't work as far as anyone knows, just assume that it's special cancelable on block only for now.

as of ver 1.05

C-V.Akiha
can combo off of airthrow into momiji (airthrow groundbounce 2A 2C momiji)
can OTG relaunch with EX momiji off of j.C (requires proximity) or B momiji (fullscreen corner-to-corner! dash 623C OK! )
pit duration seems significantly longer (the normal pit lasted for like 20 ingame seconds but the round ended so actual length is uncertain)
overall higher returns and better options for knockdowns/setups everywhere

I've been watching a lot of F-VAkiha lately. Although there are no documented changes of damage nerfs (at least I think so) her damage seems to be consistently lower than in PS2. A 236C combo with jC starter not breaking 5k on Hisui is different from what I'm used to in MBAA. I've read people mentioning universal damage nerfs in MBAACC, maybe it has something to do with the engine itself, or maybe it is just overall lowering of damage values.  :mystery:

I guess it was only talked about in IRC but for 1.05, F-V.Akiha has been significantly nerfed, iirc Kilvear photographed the notes and I translated them. They hinted that they may only be temporary... wait for 1.07 vids imo

OK, thanks for the info. I hope they don't bring her PS2 damage back though, compared to the new average combo damage it would be ridiculous.
