Seems like it's the first time they've actually made a potentially bullshit level boss character as playable. Not sure how I feel about that, even though I'm hype to see her in action.
Seriously though, I never expected another character to be added. lol

I'm pretty sure this is a boss only special thing. As in, she doesn't have normal moon styles, and this is their way to just give her one without making the player feel jipped. I highly, HIGHLY doubt that there's a fourth moon style for all characters. That would be an insane amount of work, and they just haven't spent that much time going between arcade and console.

maybe..
1) the empty moon styles applies for all characters ONLY when one of the 2 players is Archetype Earth
or
2) it IS a "new" moon style, but mainly it's a... mixture of C-H-F

good thing they added a secret boss, since Dust of Osiris was indeed very weak compared to the other big bosses "Giant Akiha" and "Neco-Black Chaos 666", i hope they keep the characters like Ryougi if they make a PC version someday, anyone know if she got her own stage or if is another edit of the milenium castle?

About the new moon style.
According to the chinese websites I nabbed some screenshots from, it's called "Lunar Eclipse" style. They say that it's basically just Crescent Moon with Auto-Heat* and is reserved for bosses only; Archetype, Wara, G.Akiha, etc.
* - At least I think it was Auto-Heat. It's either that or Auto-Counter though.

I just iunlocked her... I think its like, after unloackling everything (cinematics and characters), beat the game with Ryougi.... and... well... thats what I did... eating the game at the hardest level... nothign special I guess...
She looks exatly like normal arceuid XD... only really faster and with the Eclipse Style. she looks kinda like the re-act version.... but not 100%..... I am trying her yet XD
Edit: Jesus Christ, this girl is a beast XD.... teleport is a dam upgrade of warcs..... every EX move shows the Princess forme behind Arcueid.... mmm... Last Arc Kills instantly.... she has the blood rings from Warc..... well.... only that stuff I guess... and she is really fast and damaging.... XD

So uh, apparently I don't have Archetype: Earth unlocked by beating all arcades(thus unlocking every dialogue). This means my efforts were for nothing? Or is there really another way instead of doing Boss Rush without losing a round?

Found a somewhat infinite loop and is rather easy to do, though I end up screwing up sooner or later anyway. 2C 214D 2B 2C etc. Works best in corner.

Not an infinite just one long loop. Actress Again has a gravity system, so the more hits you have on them, the faster they start falling. Kinda like HnK except without the broke basketball bounce.

Is it actually broken? It seems like that corner "infinite" can only do up to average B&B damage before putting the opponent in a state where he can burst. The last arc hitting for 100% life is nasty but usually when someone lands a last arc it means the round anyway. Overall, Archetype seems to move fast and do a fair amount of damage but, though I haven't unlocked it to test for myself, I haven't seen anything so far that necessarily makes it indisputably stronger than every other character by a significant margin.

Wasn't aware of either of those. The only videos I've seen have been people against the CPU.

I've had match experience against Archetype. So I know how to play F-Len pretty well, the other guy was pretty new to the game. I lost pretty harsh. Random 5aa's did about 1k dmg and supers did 3.5k at least. Her I think it was 236C gaurd broke me everytime.

All her normals (especially 5B) rape guard meter, 236A/B take around half, and 236C destroys it all.

I've had match experience against Archetype. So I know how to play F-Len pretty well, the other guy was pretty new to the game. I lost pretty harsh. Random 5aa's did about 1k dmg and supers did 3.5k at least. Her I think it was 236C gaurd broke me everytime.
I've run into the same circumstance. I was playing around with my friend for a couple hours, and after she started using Archetype Earth, she got a ton of wins. Archetype is definitely a good noob character if you're facing someone no so good at the game, but you still want a challenge. All of her normals do good guard bar damage, are safe on block, and are FULL of clash frames. (Especially 5B/2C) She is fully invincible during her 236A/B/C, and as speculated, 236C depletes a full guard bar on block. Her throw causes either an untechable bounce, or an untechable wallslam. Her 421C puts you behind and above your opponent. The worst, most broken thing about her is... She can circuit spark any time she wants.

She does have a C style, but you can only get to it by getting her on random select. C-Archetype doesn't have a finished sprite set but the attacks look like they could have been kinda cool.
