okay, so this is my first computer game, bear with me. I just downloaded MB: AC(as the title implies) , and i can get the program to open. it can go to Options and the Character Select screen, but when i pick my character everything goes black and the game freezes up. is there anything i can do? btw, the game seems to move pretty slow too (as in lag), is 44 fps good? Again, i'm totally inexperienced with computer games here, so sorry if i said anything confusing or dumb.

I don't know about the crashing but Melty's ideal frame rate is 60 FPS.

What are your computer specs? Granted that MBAC isn't a very heavy game, it might be due to your specs. Either that, or the fact you pirated the game.

Crashes most likely because you need to update your DirectX AND Graphic Card drivers. Do it.
FPS depends most on the graphic card, I'd recommend some Nvidia 6 series or Up. Indeed AC is not hardware demanding but you need to have *at least* some decent specs.
