I just decided to check Melty Blood out because it looks cool. I got it but now as soon as I try to start it up it opens the window but nothing happens and i just get a black screen. no sound or anything..... :(

ok now i got it to work but its being weird. like ingame it cuts off part of the characters like theres an invisible wallabout halfway up each sprite's body

The error with the black screen is a common symptom of graphics drivers that are not up to date. So if you haven't, I suggest updating your gpu drivers and see if that fixes the problems you're having.

Yeah, that was bad when it came out, and it came out like a decade ago. Gonna need a new computer for Melty. You can try doing driver updates, I doubt it'll help.

I hate p4a. i play kof umvc3 ssf4 skullgirls and ggacp. how much would it cost to replace my current graphics card with one that is sufficient? or is that not possible?

You'd probably have to replace the entire computer, honestly. Motherboard probably doesn't have the ports for a modern card. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't have any ports for any card. XPRESS 200 isn't an actual card. It's integrated.
