When's Melty on Steam?
ahaha that's no--wait, what?

As it said, when I tried to netplay, and I use Vista Home Basic as the OS, Melty Blood won't run, instead it gives me an error. How do I fix this?
Here's details of the error in general. It's a BEX error for the most part.

Help!!

Update to 1.03A. If it still fails, reinstall from your MBAC disc.
It seems retarded, but your maiden run of the game requires you to have the disc in the drive/mounted.

Use windows XP.

Use windows XP.
Instantaneous solution.

Use windows XP.
Followed by cracking your vista disk throwing it in a fire then preforming an exorcism on its burnt remains.

So very helpful. I haven't had any issues with MBAC on Vista aside from Ecole not fixing their corrupt 1.03a patchfile on their bloody site.
Make sure you installed regional support for japanese, non-unicode or applocale the install, and then patch. If this only happens with netplay, redownload caster. Make sure you've run MBAC normal at least once, and set your controls.
