Stick to play Melty with.

I'll mostly be playing MBAC on PC and I was wondering what kind of stick should I buy? Right now I have a MadCatz SE but it doesn't work on either of my laptops so I'm stuck with a PS2 controller.

If I can get a stick that works on PS2 and PC that would be even better.  :teach:

Well, HRAP2 are out of production now. Your best bet is buying one off of Ebay or something, or Cthulu modding a PS3/360 stick.

Is that the normal price for them?

I'll look into Cthulu modding my current stick. I'm sure that would be cheaper than buying a HRAP.

you could also go with run of the mill Mayflash, since its hard to get ps2 hori's nowadays

Quoting this for truth. Much cheaper to buy a HRAP3, and dual modding/or cthulu'ing it than buying a HRAP2SA off of ebay.

If you're sticking to MBAC, HRAP3 is the way to go. Plan on using it with MBAA? Then dual mod it and etc, loads of guides on SRK and knowledgeable people here as well.

Apparently this December AkihabaraShop is re-releasing the HRAP2:SA. Not worth it honestly in the OP's situation though, yes.

I was lucky enough to get a hrap2sa for pretty cheap. Oddly enough craigslist ftw.

But you might as well do as svx said or just get a TE and put a MC Cthulu in it.
