Help with keyconfig

I can't change my buttons for some odd reason. When i try to use Melty Blood & Party's Breaker universal key config...it says

Couldn't find default key config in the src file.
Either unsupported version or already patched.
If you have deleted/change the .orig then BLAME YOURSELF

I never changed or deleted any orig file because i dont even know what that is and never even saw it.

Is there any way to fix this?

ya...it was always working until one fatefull day..... it said what i posted before

and now when i try to install the game on my laptop, it just doesn't want to work? It was working perfectly fine before. How come the game doesn't work anymore when i try to install it on the other computer?

Hmm, I daresay, I've seen that problem concerning not being able to install on vista. Are you using it, or XP?

the laptop is vista ya. But it also the REG and mpkeycfg.exe don't work on this computer either and this computer is XP

I'm lucky i can still run MBAC, but sometimes it doesn't work and says what it says in vista. (even though my computer doesn't read (japanese)

For the REG and mpkeycfg.exe for both computers it says error accept mpkeycfg says something else on my computer(1st post)

2. change keys

When you patched the  file, there should be a mbacpc.exe.orig in the same folder.

That's the original melty blood executable. That contains the so called "SRC" shit, and the original config.

So remove the mbacpc.exe and alternate it with the mbacpc.exe.orig

so i delete mbacpc.exe? but i already have mbacpc.exe.orig in the folder

1) Install Melty Blood
2) Move the Setup folder and etc into the MBACWIN folder.
3) Open Setup.exe and click OK or Next or something.
4) keyconfig

i can just make a copy of the Setup.exe instead of moving it right?
