I found this yesterday, shows you how to use a ps3 controller without annoying wires, works perfectly and you can even use motion control if you want.
LINK (http://boards.ign.com/Message.aspx?topic=163284350&brd=8269&start=163295180) just follow what he says :teach:

I only had one problem, looks like melty blood and other few games don't like the Button 1 if you follow the tutorials that will be Square, but you can change that on configuring mapping for buttons. basicly move the PS3 home button from Button 13 to 1 and more the rest up and should be like this:

B1 - D16
B2 - D0
B3 - D1
B4 - D2
B5 - D3
B6 - D4
B7 - D5
B8 - D6
B9 - D7
B10 - D12
B11 - D13
B12 - D14
B13 - D15

wait a sec..how do i move the buttons? i dont want some random buttons doing random things like having the up arrow be button B or select being A like before...lol,

aghh i really dont know how to get a gamepad (or a ps3 control) to work on  mbcaster or mb config....i'm not sure at all what to do. I got my pc to read the control, and when i press the buttons i see them light up on control panel...so now what do i do?

Have you even opened up meltyblood? It has its own pad configuration at the botton the the very first window you get when you double click the .exe Its not really recommended to play meltyblood online without any prior knowledge. Heres a picture to help out with that.

Everybody else, feel free to mock and laugh at my 4 year old laptop specs.
