When's Melty on Steam?
ahaha that's no--wait, what?

Hai everyone, I'm new on this forum so I apologize if this is in the wrong section.>,>
Anyways, Melty Blood Act Cadenza Ver.B works fine for me except for one MINOR detail, arcade mode. Everything is fine except for arcade mode. When I enter a battle in arcade mode everything turns white and I can only hear audio. I have a feeling this has to do with my old graphics card.......(it's only has 32MB).
-
While I cannot say for certain that your graphics card is the cause, I think it's a good possibility, as the minimum requirements for the game include 64MB video card RAM.
-
The only weird thing about this is, it only happens in arcade mode!0_0;
Although I guess my graphics card is the cause, thanks.XP

If you're getting good frame rates with a 32 MB graphics card, wow. :psyduck:

LOL! Thanks everyone, I figured out how to bypass that error. Now I can play arcade mode!=D

For our reference, would you mind telling us how you bypassed it?
-
I also have a similar problem like this, except right after the introduction ends everything goes black and all I hear is the audio, does anyone know what I need to do?
-
It might have something to do with your video capabilities. Try changing the color bittage (16 to 32 or viceversa), and go into the advanced options panel (the button in moonspeak in the config dialog), and uncheck all the checkboxes, and play with the texture quality there as well.
-
I set it to the lowest quality it can be, nothing. I'm not sure if this means anything but the error signature showed this:
AppName: mbacpc.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: mbacpc.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 000115a6

And if you can somehow access that memory address..

Ive tried playing with everything on the menu and nothing. :mystery: I really want to play arcade but I'm as clueless as the person viewing this and not knowing how to answer. Can someone please help me?
-
Sorry I didn't want to "revive" this thread so I didn't post the solution.D=
Well, to bypass that white screen I just pressed A so it would skip the Next Stage screen. After a while though the problem stopped and I can play fine now.=3
Edit: Woops just noticed the last post was December something X_X

Waffles: I tried pressing the A button like you did, but it doesn't work for me. I have the same amount of video memory as you do. Anyone know why it does this at the arcade mode in particular and not in any other part of the game?
