Replay files are just input logs, basically.  You'd have to play the replay with some video capture program running on your system to convert it to video.

And when you're recording, try to run the game from one hard drive and record to an entirely different hard drive (not just another partition) or the game will lag so much the recording will end up completely useless.

Fraps works for me, Camtasia doesn't. It depends on how much processing power and memory your computer has.

If you're recording for youtube, it's also a good idea to set the window size to 480x360.
