noradseven: As usual, you're blabbering without knowing what the fuck you're talking about, so shut up. I get enough headaches with Caster without people making suggestions that are flat out wrong.
If it's freezing at that point, guess what: the MBAC install itself doesn't even factor into it because it never even gets a chance to run MBAC. Additionally, lacking any particular files from MBCaster will not cause this problem. Congratulations, your suggestions will now accomplish nothing whatsoever. The only possibility is that MBCaster.exe is somehow corrupted, which is enough of a possibility that redownloading MBCaster might not be a bad idea: But since zip files have added in protection against corruption I find this highly doubtful as well.
I also do not think it is Vista 64-bit's problem. There is nothing that occurs at that point which can cause that, and I have heard of no issues with MBCaster on that. The only things between that point and where the main menu are reached is where it initializes the networking threads and waits for everything to be all ready so it can continue. Literally nothing else happens in this time. Period.
So obviously it's either failing to setup its threads or blocking for something that never happens. In either case, I do not see how it could be Caster's fault but there is the possibility of memory corruption somewhere. It's entirely possible that hMutex is never freed up, so it blocks for it forever. But then that would imply that something is blocking with it, and I don't have a clue what that would be.
I'll look into a debug build here, as this is very, very, very strange and probably more indicative of a screwed up Windows install than anything else.
