Just a hunch, but have you tried toggling compatibility modes, perhaps?
-
tried.
Xp,Vista,98/me.
This game does work on 7 right?
-
more like, why are you even triying to play the original mb lol
Edit by Rowan: If that was a german forum, you would've been banned Kusanagi :V
-
heard the story is a follow up of tsukihime.
And i'd played this 3 years ago and wanted to again
-
This is the original game, correct? I had no problems running it. I didn't have to tweak around with compatibility mode.
P.S. If you know where the patches are for this game, post em' up!
-
Dammit Bill Gates! Keeping good kids from good games!
Anyways how did you get the game?
-
While i can't speak for the original, Act Cadenza does works just fine
(grandted i have to set the color depth to 16-bit to be able to watch the intro movie, but that's probably my PC's fault instead of the OS).
-
Did you rename the EXE or why does it say mb.exe instead of MBACPC.exe?
-
Because he's trying to run the original Melty Blood, Rowan, not MBAC.
Radonryder: You should probably install Re-ACT; install it on top of the original Melty Blood. The original Melty Blood is fairly... bad, compared to the current versions, and Re-ACT is a lot more like Melty as we've come to know it since. It does retain the story mode.
-
I'm having some problems installing Melty Blood on my laptop with Windows 7. It keeps interrupting at the manual folder of the install disc (it is the disc that also has react and final tuned as well). I was wondering if someone could help me with this problem I have.
-
I don't know how you'd get the installer to run properly on Win 7, but I'm pretty sure it'll work if you install it on a computer with a proper OS like XP, then move that installation over to your laptop.
-
I'm a little confused on what you said. When I installed the games on my previous laptop (which I still have), it took a couple tries to get working.
-
You can just move the folder over.
EDIT: As for original MB and ReAct, I'm testing~
-
I have tried to do that. The original games don't work on Windows 7?
-
Try running it via AppLocale.
-
Or just set your OS to Japanese which saves you the trouble of having to do anything the next time you install something.
-
I think the problem is the opening video. I had the similar problem with Ever 17 vn final video. I move the video to desktop and it stop crashing.
