Melty Blood refuses to play

Well, I've run into an irritating problem. Whenever I play MBAC, I can only watch the intro movie. When it's finish, an error pops up stating "mbacPC.exe has encounted a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." After that, it closes. I can try it again, but I have the same issue. I'm not able to pinpoint the problem here. My monitor doesn't support 32 bit, so I have to play it in 16 bit.

What could be the issue?



Is my computer just too crappy to play it?

EDIT: I'm curious why your monitor doesn't support 32 bit, but that's not important.

You probably want a video card that actually supports DirectX9. Because that's a requirement.

(and my monitor is pretty old, so it doesn't really support anything higher than 24 bit)

MB's minimum system requirement is a 64MB video accelerator. 32MB just won't cut it.

Another thing just so you know: That processor will run the game, just not very well.

p3 1ghz, 32mb gfx,  24bit monitor... ITT get a new computer
