Problem with my copy of MBAACC:PC
« on: January 12, 2012, 07:43:07 PM »
I searched high and low, with mixups you might say, for anyone with similar problems to mine and found nothing.  Google, srk, and of course your fine board here.

Every match in versus has problems getting with the "round one: fight" screen.
(see attachment)
it'll eventually get to the round but for a while, the time allotted for pre-round hopping around, dashing and such the screen is covered with this mess.  Then when the word "fight" is supposed to appear in the horizontal bar across the screen it's solid black and generally in the damned way.
My description is rubbish, i know, but if you're having the same problems you'll know exactly what i'm talking about.
I guess my point is HELP ME, it's driving me bonkers.

Try windowed mode?
TBH I think integrated graphics is causing your problem.  Looks like alpha channels aren't being handled properly.

Your specs look, or are pretty much, almost the exact same as mine (differences are I'm on a smaller display and the make isnt HP), and I haven't had any issues at all running MBAACC. (Thought I am running with 6GB RAM instead of 3 (for no real reason)). I'm not completely sure what the issue would be though x: But I'd imagine you -should- be able to play and display it fine. Driver update maybe..?
Current Main: H-Sion
Alt: H-Kohaku
Planning on switching to H/C-Kohaku soon.

I had high hopes for windowed mode being that it's the one thing i didn't think to try.  Still there.
I can't seriously be the only experiencing this shiite.

I'm actually having the same problem and I was wondering if what drivers I need to update or what else do I need to download. This is actually getting pretty annoying and I did not have this problem when I ran the demo last year.

You wont know if you dont try, anyway its always good to update your video board driver. Tell us if it worked later.
A little bit of console ain't too bad.
