Hello everyone! I'm quite new to this forum, so I apologize in advance if I don't follow the proper order of things, but regardless, let's get to the meat of this post.

I recently started playing Melty Blood, since I'm very excited for UNiB but decided I didn't want to wait anymore, so the next logical step would to be to try the previous game. Now, everything runs amazingly and smoothly at a constant 60 frames per second... EXCEPT some specific moves. These being Red Arc's blood rings ONLY ON HIT, her arc drive (the one where she pulls down the sun), one of the Akiha's flames, and a few other supers (I think maybe Archtype Earths?).

My guess is that this would be due to some specific particle effects, but looking through the options I couldn't find anything that looked like it would help me fix this problem. I tried running all the settings at their lowest as well, smallest resolution, windowed, etc, and the same issue happened. Is there some fix I'm missing here? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Here are my system specs as listed by the game for anyone interested:

That's pretty odd. Try going into Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) and setting the affinity to a single core.

Is UNiB the successor for MB?

If my knowledge is correct, then it's the spiritual successor. Made by the same people/company, Sion is even in the new game too.
