Reordering joysticks priority
« on: March 07, 2008, 01:23:23 PM »
I have a two-port PS2 ((always on, even when there aren't controllers in)) converter, and whenever I plug in my other stick, which is USB, the two PS2 controllers take priority.

Besides uninstalling one of the drivers, is there a program I can use to reorder which controllers are first and second?

IIRC Windows has an alphabetical system in place when it comes to controller priority, so unless you go buy a Logitech pad (beats out everything else) the only other way that I can think of to force priority is to use a third party program like maybe Joy2key as Windows would still prioritize the sticks in the same order, drivers or not...

...Honestly, I'm not even sure that would do it. The easiest way really would be to just unplug the converter when your using the USB stick.

Aa-- Sorry, I meant to say, "I have one PS2 joystick and one Xbox 360 stick, and I would like to play using both." However, I doubt that changes anything.

Ah well, thanks a bunch, guys~

I have the same problem whenever I try to use my VSHG or X360 controllers with the SoB logitechs some of my friends have.
Logitechs seem to take priority over everything. No exceptions.
Come on Logitech, give me a break. Don't make me hit you, and trust me I will. Bitch, I'm the goddamn Batman.
