Slow Frames in mbaacc
« on: April 16, 2012, 03:27:47 PM »
I've recently bought a copy of this game, and I don't understand why this game lags on my PC.It usually stays at about 1-40 frames in all stages except for back alley, where the frames stay at about 30-40 just standing there. And when heat activates, the frame rate usually drops 10-20 frames. I've made sure to use gamebooster to disable things, and I recently cleaned up all junk files on my cpu.

My specs:
[ OS ]
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.120305-1505)
[ CPU ]
AMD Athlon(tm) Processor 2850e  , ~1.8GHz
[ MEMORY ]
3072MB RAM
[ DISPLAY ]
1366 x 768 (32 bit) (60Hz)
[ DisplayAdapter ]
NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
1400 MB RAM
DriverVersion : 8.17.0012.5896
[ DirectX ]
DirectX 11

My settings:

2850e? Seriously? That's like museum old. Pentiums run better than that. If I had to guess, that's the problem. For the record, it's not playable if it dips below 60fps. For some reason, MBAACC is surprisingly hard to run.

EDIT: Also 6150SE is integrated. So garbage. It was useless for gaming when it first came out, and that was 6-7 years ago. Solution is to get a new computer, 'cause your current computer is probably around the age of a 2nd grader.

Yeah, according to the official site, you'll need an Intel(R) Celeron(R) 440 2.0GHz processor or better, and at least a NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) 7900 series or AMD Radeon(TM) X1600 series graphics card.
