Xtokki 360 converter issues

I'm trying to use a ps2 pad to play mbaacc on pc using the xtokki converter. I can get the game to recognize that a 360 pad is connected but the controller config won't recognize my inputs on the ps2 pad. I've downloaded drivers and the setup works with other games like SFAE. Is there anything else I can do?

Starting with the stupid troubleshooting steps, have you set it to pad instead of wheel on the back of the converter?
Otherwise I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work, it functions the same as an official 360 pad/stick

Turns out it was a bad pad. Switched ps2 controllers and everything works fine.
