It seems to work a little more differently in MB than your standard super meter in SF or MvC. At least it does to me, but does it really? I noticed that my damage drops about a few hundred when I combo from 0% meter as opposed to 100% or more.

No it shouldn't. Was this after hurting an enemy with an EX move? Or were both tests from full HP?

Im pretty sure how much meter you have doesnt affect the amount of damage you do. Only factors I know of are starting move, reverse beat penalty, and if you shielded recently.
