: How do you do "super double jump" or "sdj"?

I've seen this notation so many times in combo instructions. How does it differ from a normal double jump and how do I perform it?

Super double jump offers greater jump height and velocity than a regular double jump forward. IIRC, sdj is limited to forward.
In MBAC, I think it was a Shiki exclusive ability (eg Tohno and Nanaya) but in MBAA I believe they made it a universal mechanic?

You input by either tapping 9 (forward double jump) for under 8 frames, or you can input it by entering 29 while in midair.

Either :
The second method is the only way to do it in MBAC, and it only works in MBAC with Tohno, Nanaya, M.Hisui and Vakiha.

Shiki, Arcueid, Mech Hisui, and Kouma (for some reason unknown to everyone) could do it.
