After playing Actress Again on the PS2, I wanted to play more Melty Blood. Since I haven't played it, I was wondering if Act Cadenza is worth getting/buying? If so, should I get the PS2 port or the PC ver B port?

Not really. Good netplay if you get PC MBAC. That's really the only reason to play it at this point. It's still fun, though. It's just that hardly anyone will play it 'cause no one remembers old tech. The game just doesn't have the same feel, either. (But MBAC is great, aw yeah, run Satsuki 4 way all day.)

Since I'm huge Fighting Game Buf, I usually get as many entries of a series. Since who knows, I might like one entry over another.
The PC port doesn't show up as much it seems, which that sucks.

I do intend to get MBAACC. However, the if I remember well it is only bundled with the Blue Ray release of Season 3 of Carnival Phantasm (btw it is fing hilarious!) and cost like 200 bucks. Ouch, not quite an easy purchase.
I do want to buy it legally though (plus I'll download a eng patch if available). So I'll wait for a price cut or for a reprint. Based on what I played from the PS2 port of MBAA so far though, I really like this 2D fighter!

Honestly when we went out of way to try and purchase the game logically and got shut down numerous ways, supporting them regardless is a pretty.... iffy idea imo

No real way of getting it outside of shady eBay deals 'cause it's out of print and is gonna stay like that.

Act Cadenza is a fun game, the PC version has some updates and good netplay compared to console but lacks the option to select announcer voice. Aoko and Kouma have good enough arcade stories with a nice song at the end if you're into that stuff.
If you like hoarding fighting games then it's not a bad one to have, but don't expect it to see much action now that CC is out.
I do want to buy it legally though

I guess you could call it that, I'm just an fighting game enthusiast ;D. Of my 300+ games in my collection, most of them are fighting games.
I might consider getting Act Cadenza then. Is there a patch that lets you select your announcer voice? I've seen something similar done to some games like YU-NO (never played it though).
I don't understand the brick comment, but I can only assume that most of ya downloaded it. Can't blame ya though given the circumstances. It is just as worse to buy this online as is Radiant Silvergun. If I can get the game, I totally do. I only download if there is no other way.

Nope, it was removed from the PC version for no reason at all and there is no official nor fan made patch to bring it back.

Just be an honest fellow and buy the game when it's released; no reason to torment yourself with waiting in the meantime.

I suppose your right, thanks. I'll download MBAACC and buy it whenever the chance comes. I actually had to download for one of my favorite fighting games, Naruto Shippuden Narutimate Accel 2. Took me just last year to finally buy it (worth it too).
