I want to request C-Ciel vs Akiha (any moon is fine). If I come across any good matches I'll post them.

Sorry guys I won't be able to do it today. I'll make it up either tomorrow or later in the day, whatever feels best for you guys.

I still want to do it, so let me know which 'makeup' day will be best for all of you.

Sorry and thanks guys.

Later today if possible, if not there's always the recorded livestream whenever you do it.

I'm going to do it either tonight or tomorrow night guys, I'll get back to you all.

On a more important note, I've figured out sunday might not be the best day for me to do it, at least sunday afternoons. Maybe the evenings...? Since I do stuff on the weekends too, doing this every sunday afternoon is proving to be kinda difficult, so with that said... Time to have a repoll!

Now that I have a bigger fanbase [I think?] this question should be posed again: On which day should these be held, guys?

Since it's been hard on you to keep a schedule, maybe the best time is your time. Just post it here (1 day in advance perhaps)  when you are going to stream and those who can will follow. You seem to get as much feedback from the archive as from the live chat anyway, so...

Hey guys I've realized the weekend is a bad day for me to do these, so I should do it on a day from mon-fri.

Essentially if I do these on the weekend it means I either shouldn't do anything the whole weekend or stop whatever I want to do early and such or cut plans with family, which if of course, ass. However my weekdays are pretty much always free with the exception of thursdays, so... Let's re-vote based on these new conditions.

Once again thanks for watching if you guys do, and I'll get back to doing these weekly very soon.

If it hasn't been mentioned yet, I recommend playing entire video round/match first then going over specifics

I'm on board with the round idea, but it feels very awkward in the middle of very long rounds. I've been trying to compromise by commentating something, then going back roughly 5 seconds and letting it play out again so what happened was more clear and gives time to see it again, but i'll keep experimenting around

Actuallly guys... Thursday nights are terrible for me.

..Yeah.

Fridays should be pretty damn good for the most part, it's just that i'll have to move the streams on friday to another date whenever i host my friday tournaments.

I'll just remove the thursday option. And reset votes [again]. My bad guys.

Oh, if I finish my schoolwork in time I should be able to have a makeup stream session tonight. The topic will be Archetype earth; It won't really be too detailed of an analysis since she's still a very new character, but it'll be good to just discuss her a bit. I'll leave the stream open for 30minutes afterwards for questions and discussion on Archetype.

Watched the first and last round of the H-VSion vs. C-Warc set, the drawn lines really help when you explain the reasoning behind each movement. Also, considering I'm not familiar with either character, but I will be facing more of them in the near future, I really liked how you explained why they use certain moves in certain situations. I actually saw this set a few days ago, but it definitely makes more sense after watching this. I'll have to get to watching the rest of the episode later this week.

I have to check back if you've done an analysis on C-Ciel in a previous episode, but if you haven't, consider that my request.

Also, I chuckled at "Oh, now he's just trolling."

Just had a chance to watch your last archive. Good choice on the Fujinami vs MaSa set.  (;D H-VSion)
Things I noticed:
@ 15:03 in your archive, I'm pretty sure the dodge attempts by Fujinami are for C-Warc 6C or big ring. These two players play all the time, so the dodges are prolly a result of that fact. I personally think it's better to dodge 5B resets, 5{b} and BE5B. But you still have to make a read, cuz re-dashing will just rape that.
@ 18:12 and 42:47, I'm glad you went over the bad spacing of j236C. It's something I see H-VSion players do a lot. Some of those you can get a free tech out, b/c the VSion player does not know what they are doing and just auto inputs 5C. Fujinami got rightfully blown up for his really bad walk back 5C. It's better in this situation to walk back and instead of auto piloting 5C, react to a tech with 5B5C2C Summon/5B5C2C3CjABC AT back into the corner, and do nothing or try for j2B2C Summon otg relaunch (if that still works in 1.07) if they don't tech.
@32:07, with auto spark in the air, an air throw is possible, but difficult there. A better option is to ground throw back into the corner instead of what MaSa did (5{B} I think). I find that when I'm in that situation, it's far too dangerous to use throw tech OS (no one I play but pfhor goes for ground throw), and therefore ground throws work more often if your opponent is thinking on his toes.

Oh and the dive kick shenanigans. I don't think it's trolling so much. If you think your opponent is scared enough to respect it a few times, then you can go for it. The repeated dive kicks make people want to do something because they know there are gaps if you keep doing it. So when an H-VSion player does it, they are going to do it a few times and try and bait a mash or jump reaction from the opponent which can be stuffed easily.

That's all I have. Good work.

Thing is the big ring beats hvsion dodge for sure and it probably loses to 6[C] too though i'm not too sure on that.

As for the airthrow, I know it was possible but midmatch that shit's hard :/ [at that angle and timing anyway for warc]

Also I'd say he wasn't trolling if he didn't even bother confirming an obvious ch confirm before. since he didn't bother [it's pretty damn free imo] i just considered it trolling lol

Yeah I guess it really doesn't matter if he was trolling or not.
I don't know. Sometimes I get it into my head that I'm going to do x amount of dive kicks right now, regardless of what happens. Then go for y.
I miss counter hit confirm opportunities doing this sometimes if I'm just not expecting a hit at all of a particular dive kick.

Are we going to have a special holiday episode? Or is this going to be a lame recap of last season?  :laffo:

Real talk: Happy to see it back. I was wondering why you stopped.
