1st post in these forums. Hello, enjoy:

MWC vids: these are the vids i have from the first tourney. youtube is doing maintenance atm, so the vids from the second tourney will be up tomorrow sometime.

MWC MBAC Tourney1 Quarterfinal #2: Gwyrgyn Blood (Mech Hisui) vs. Orka (Aoko)

MWC MBAC Tourney1 Semifinal #1: Andrew (Ciel-23*) vs. //Jais (Ciel-1*)

MWC MBAC Tourney1 Semifinal #2: Gwyrgyn Blood (Mech Hisui) vs. Humbag (Warachia)

MWC MBAC Tourney1 3rd Place Match: //Jais (Ciel) vs. Gwyrgyn Blood (Mech Hisui)

MWC MBAC Tourney1 Finals: Andrew (Ciel) vs. Humbag (Warachia)

NOTES: there were 2 1v1 mb tourneys at mwc (for various reasons). the first tourney put everyone into pools. after those were completed, the top people in the pools advanced into a single elim bracket. thats why there is a 3rd place match.

the second tourney was straight up double elim.

I found that less questionable than using 5C as a wara combo ender when you have meter available for 236C. People do stupid things against Ciel when they are scared, but there's no excuse for using the wrong bnb.

And hey, at least midwest plays better than South Carolina or wherever that was that had a tourney at the same time.

some ppl just dont know any better. cant run the same blockstrings that would be "safe" vs the rest of the cast on ciel. staggering attacks doesnt help much either. gotta stick low risk options cus a good ciel player will always be buffering on the defensive.

Actually, that's not a bad option. EX Hadouken has zero frame disadvantage if it's parried, and if you need to kill someone and make them guess high/low when they're getting up, low short x2 -> EX Hadouken is wacky enough to work.
