What is that one OTG that the Japanese warc player [Leo / レオ] uses (after j214C)? Seems to have a higher damage output that the standard...

Hm, answered my own qestion. Damage seems to be better but, the standard would be better if you have meter to run(623C follow up).

Also doing that 623c otg means A - you have 200 meter to finish the combo, or B - you're actually willling to do midscreen tech punishes. Personally I'd want to do neither.

Probably won't counterhit anything with it cause most things you can bara out of will hit you before the startup of the 214C is done.

Lol, good point ;D. My bad... I thought you was one of those "I don't take advice from someone that I've never played / heard of" players. (I spend too much time on dustloop!)
I'm usually on irc late nite. I could use the extra exp anyways seeing as warc's one of my worst matchups (next to nero).

Best warc...interesting...
Noone ever able to beat my warc (with warc) except Zind (#meltyblood.eu). If you need guide he's the man for warc. I plays way more differently than other ppl. If you want a good warc matchup visit meltyeuro mirc channel and play some with me or Zind and you can learn more. Lord Knight is also a good warc player, altou I never got the chance to play against him.

Ciel is one of my most poor matchups but... I can do something about her. However
GOD do I hate fighting V.Sions. I don't get that shit, at all (mostly cause I hate blocking, but thats besides the point:V)
One main problem is not being able to read throws or 6b well... cause of the nature of that blocksting (5a dosumshit dash 5a dosumshit EXkattowutever overhead)
All I got right now is 236A at small openings or 236C where I can read.
Shielding? I can shield 236C for EXkatto, but small kattos I got nothing.
Other than V sion match up and possibly Lens, I think I am good... I'll need to fight more ciels though....
next post, fun with shields...

Actually, I meant more in terms of V.Sion... most other characters (besides Miyako perhaps) I can read throws and overheads.
That 6b though man (Sion's too), is hard for me to read... I don't know what it is about that overhead that doesn't stick to me.
Next is the throw, its like even though I see it, I can't mash it... maybe its too slow because of hesitation from getting pwnt by 5a.

It's not perfect, but I believe it's better than trying to mash in most cases since you don't really have any throw inv. moves except EX moves in this game. If they read the jump you might get airthrown or hit from ground and hopefully they can't combo from what they poked you with. But at least it's not a fucking 2.6k throw combo..
