sup peoples?

i just started playin this game, and red is the first character that i've started to actually win some matches with... ;D

i thought it would be cool to start up a general thread on her and see how other people are using her..  from what i've learned so far she deals decent damage, her air 214a is key, her air combos do alot of damage and are great punishers.

this is the combo i do... not sure if its the right one or not, but this is what i've come up with from playing with some friends for about a day with no internet..

(^ = jump)

2b, 2c ^ j.a, j.b, j.c ^ dj.a, dj.b, dj.2c

another one is

2b, 2c ^ j.a, j.b, j.c ^ dj.214b/c (depending on meter)

she is a good rushdown character, her iad+214a can lead to some pretty sick crossups and combo setups.. her jumping b has alot of priority..

i just wish she had a better last arc super.. it seems that every time i activate blood heat and then activate the super, my opponent just starts rushing me down and just tries to get one hit in before the super finishes.. any advice on how to land it effectively?

i'll post more when i get more time playing it..

any other red arcueid players out there???

First and foremost:

The global Warc BNB is:
2A 2B 2C 5C, jB(2hit) jC , jump, jB(2hit) jC, throw

The global Warc 5 BNB-combo is:
5, 2C 5C (or 5A 5A if you wanna be safe), jB(2hit) jC , jump, jB(2hit) jC, throw.

I will go through alot more when i'm finished _LEARNING_ the basics with her to the extent that I feel I can write a _GOOD_ basics-guide. But Warceid is sweet.

Well then, I will post my guide when i'm done with it. Ciao!

Warc's a pretty cool character. I play her in a different way since I never changed my play style from 2.004 on the PC.

I stick with 2ab as my all purpose starter on the ground. After that, you can see if they're blocking high or low so either do 2c5c or charge b (overhead). If the overhead hits, super or launch into air combo.

My air combo is b(1hit), c, b(1hit), c, 2c (knockdown). Corner air combo can be that or some crazy: hit, airdash, 214C knockdown, OTG combo, relaunch, etc.

Other things to keep in mind:
Her throw is ground techable, so:
  a) Punish the tech
  b) Normal okizeme
c) Try to land an unblockable charge C
You can teleport out of Kohaku's tree traps and maybe some others.
Mixup jump in blood rings (A and B, B stops her movement) to bait counters.
236c is a decent wakeup super.

Zero level "I played 2 people before Sausagefest and one of them was online in FT" Warc here.
My entire knowledge of her comes from ikusat's wiki of outdatedness.

Question:  WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LOSE jB?
At Sausagefest, my entire game was around jB/rings.  (Yeah some normal ground blockstrings that were completely non aggressive (2abc5a/5b2b2c5a back off ring hur, not realizing charge 5B can't combo into 2B if it hits crouching, mtp while your air combo gives me hives I like the 2ab charge5B deal)
Once I lost jB I lost like 90% of my game.
This is why I did better against say...Saiyid's Akiha (lol Akiha eat hjB) then Bell's Ren (jA), Chibi's Hisui, Saiyid's anything else. 
Xaq's arc would get hit but he kept doing overheads on me when people were like YOU BLOCK LOW in this game so he'd kill me fast for different reasons, same with spooky, if he knocked me down I was pretty much done but jB still worked, I don't think I played Tinshi much.
Zaeler's Ciel felt beatable but by the time he came I had already ruined my hands with how I play (pad warrior).

So without jB what am I left with for example against Ren jumping As.
Should I even bother trying to beat her out of the air?

Also unblockable charge C into what?

Im like totally new at this game lol but yeah I might as well put my view on this

My basic combo from the ground is

2A > 2B > 2C > Jump > J.B > J.C > Jump > J.C > J.2C

and I like to fly around with alot of Blood rings.

But heres a question, when you successfully land a 6236C...what do you do after that? Because im new and I dont know how to do things like hitting people while they are recovering and super jumping and continoues rushes x_x

sibla: This is old hat but I'm still going to offer something anyway: If you're running against a Len who likes to j.A, stay grounded and tele around her or 236a > whatever her. 5a not even worth the jump-in attempt seeing as you have 3 possible outcomes: 1) you win and you try either a very difficult hitconfirm or she flips and lands normally for a far range mixup, 2) you lose, she stuffs you, and you eat full bnb, 3) trades and no-one gets anything good out of it.

Frozen: Standard BNB is 2a 5b 2b 2c 5c j.bbc dj. bbc airthrow. Watch Kryojenix's video Marble Phantasm, very guut for learning the basic stuff that Red Arc has. As far as 623c, you're looking at a few different outcomes, depending on how far you are. Again, watch Kryojenix's video and you'll see what to do.

Way late Kaistar, but I basically know what to do (stop superjumping idiot self!)
Plus Kryojenix in lagplay spams j2c and sun super all day.
No extended strings, nothing that would help someone playing against Zar and Xaq and heck Chibi in real life, just that horrid air gimmick and Arc Drive.
